Bangkok city hall cancels its New Year countdown event, prayer ceremonies
KhunLA replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Sharing during the holidays is the thing to do ... ... only thing keeping me from ICONSIAM's fireworks is finding a decent pet friendly hotel in walking distance. My go to jacked up their price 5X over my last stay there. -
Pls recommend colonoscopy doc in Bangkok for regular exam

10k was express service charge only. Didn't ask if it was 5k each. -

Do you believe that the main stream media is losing its influence?

For others, simply use duckduck and you'll get a better, uncensored view of the information hwy. Use google for shopping, DD for info. -

10 month Q, or so I was told 10k gets you express pre/after hours service. I got scoped both directions there. Excellent care. Express service charge actually brought it more in line with private hosp. pricing, but since already registered (time consuming in itself) & there, wasn't an issue. Need a lot of patience to use Gov't hospitals. And they can be hit & miss. Chula is excellent, but all the metro locals (8 million) know & use, so Q's are silly long. -
little reading comprehension goes a long way.

I'd be very surprised if denied the extension. That would have to be one anal IO & Imm office. Since retirement ext issued on site. -
Yea, used to get a butterball day's past, and have grocer saw in half. Great for ThanksGiving & Xmas. More than enough for the 3 of us, w/leftovers. Oh well .... have to settle for picanha instead.

don't think so. Usually runs from Dec to 1st rains, May or late April.

they'll even deliver

Brakes do fail ... but why ? Would think most due to poor maintenance, or simply operator error. Something as simple as not draining the water of air brakes. Although now of days, systems do that automatically, if maintained. Should drain anyway, and nothing should come out, but if it does, lets you know it's time for maintenance, if water & gunk does come out.

Think you should invest in some air purifiers. Can highly recommend Xiami's. I have 2 and bought my daughter one for her condo in BKK

WHO Recommends Canceling Holiday Activities Amid Omicron Spread
KhunLA replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I understand, read boosters are available, though possibly on a priority basis here. Don't expect too much extra, any protection from, as a doc told me yesterday ... she's receiving infected patients that had boosters. -
WHO Recommends Canceling Holiday Activities Amid Omicron Spread

Yea, I'm pretty comfy myself. Go out & about pretty much anywhere, anytime I want. Don't do bars, so restrictions haven't really affected me at all. -

OK, so that is USA only thing. Do consider, because of that, your 1yr warranty and especially 30day return may not work very well. Electronics, if having issues, show up quite quick, that 30 day would be almost useless. Already stated future repair, if staying Thailand could be an issue w/parts. Base units now (Batch6) starting at ฿34k and pra ฿47.6k + shipping / duty. Personally I think you can find something here i5 or i7 in the price range and warranty better. I'm an ASUS fan myself, as they make many of the components many brands use to assemble, instead of just assemble & sell. Along with 2 yr warrant.

Probably realizing the very low chance of getting infected, along with even lower chance of having long term issue, let alone the 0.0307% chance of dying from covid per Thai population. More so, what don't you understand - 307 per million ... really liking my odds. That's not even close to scary. That's not even close to being concerned. 30 or 40 yrs of breathing the PM2.5 here would be more of a concern, and I don't think about that either. I look both ways, twice, when I cross the street, and wear a helmet on my scooter. Pretty much covers all my concerns.
