Children Aged 5-11 to Receive Pfizer Vaccine
KhunLA replied to Jonathan Fairfield's topic in Thailand News
Here's the only link I spotted on Google about the 'error', and of course they put a scare spin on it. https://www.npr.org/2021/12/28/1068643344/cdc-omicron-covid-19-delta-revise-estimates -
Children Aged 5-11 to Receive Pfizer Vaccine
KhunLA replied to Jonathan Fairfield's topic in Thailand News
I use all and any info, from anywhere, as a reference, all taken with a huge grain of salt. Personally, I don't believe much the CDC states, as $$$ corrupts. They just got caught lying about, oops sorry, made a mistake with the omicron #s. Coincidently released just before biden speech about, which #s he used of course. Seems CDC 'errored' 3X as many cases than the true # of cases. Go figure. How many media outlets covered the 'correction' ??? Add that to their buried deep in their site press release, admitting in the beginning, 94% of covid death, since not verified / tested, may or may not have been from covid. 94% .... a minor oops. Only 6% of early covid death as direct result of the virus. So excuse me if I don't trust anyone or any source, pushing products on people with scare tactics. I'll stick with common sense and what I actually know. Still only personally know only 1 person who had covid, along with my brother personally knowing 1 kid that died from the vaccine. Only 2 trusted source of real covid info I can rely on. Everyone else, well, you can believe what you want, and do your own research, but don't use google, use something like duckduck. Google censors way too much. DISCLAIMER: so this avoids deletion...this reply is solely based on my opinion, which anyone else may or may not be able to verify, as you may or may not be able to research the same sources as good as myself. -
oops, missed the Patts part. One location on the Thule site: https://www2.thule.com/en-th/dealer-locator#/dealer/Outlet%2520Mall%2520Pattaya/83336427-6b7b-43c6-ad4a-afa8472c253e Outlet Mall Pattaya 666 Moo 12 Thepprasit Road, Nongprue, Bang Lamung 20260 Chonburi Besides directions, Gmap reviews mentions Thule there w/50% off...maybe Good Luck

No personal 1st hand of Thule, but if you want hands on before you buy, here's a link to their sellers in Krung Thep area: https://www2.thule.com/en-th/dealer-locator#/category/luggage-and-duffels Cross reference the pricing with LAZ & Shopee for possible better pricing.

Motorcycle taxi riders given electric bikes in EGAT pilot scheme
KhunLA replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
hamleknoi ... Another Anti-China / Anti-EV member. We get it, been there and heard it all before. Since most batteries for EV's come out of China, I'd say your quite mistaken. How many do you own, as the members who do own, seem to enjoy them with no major complaints. -
Had one of those, and it was good till it didn't. Actually lasted a while, and cheap as chips.

I would agree, and have suggested that here many times, since very few people know VAERS exists. Docs are required to report, but that's about it. I've stated the same about the USA's Vaccine Court, as few know about that, unless ready to file suit and already talked to a lawyer. Along with the unrealistic timetable set forth for filing a claim, as most I would think, miss that window. To file a suit outside the vaccine court would be a time consuming and expensive endeavor.

Motorcycle taxi riders given electric bikes in EGAT pilot scheme
KhunLA replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Right now, for condo / apt dwellers, scooters w/removable batteries are the only practical choice for everyday driving. No problem with charging stations for out & abouts, with just a wee bit of planning. So cars for homeowners is not an issue. Sadly no inexpensive, everyday use cars available here such as China. China's best selling car, about ฿185k sells here for 2X that. I'd buy one 185k, but not 370k. Can get a Suzuki Celerio for less. The scooter photo I posted, the 1000w motor'd scooters all have removable batteries. And charge quickly from a standard wall socket. Quite practical, and inexpensive. -

Yes, at present, that is definitely an issue. When driving my e-scooter, I surprise more than a few crossing or in the roadway already. Extreme defensive driving is necessary. Even have to toot the horn, when driving through the local troop of monkeys on the roadway. Comically spooking more than a few, and thankfully none copped an attitude about it. Those loud piped ICE are practical at times. -
OP seems to be posting an op-ed for anyone interested. A little bit of research, would have saved him 2 yrs of an unsatisfied Thai experience. Don't take it personal, many Thais only like Thais, and not dark skinned Thais ... ????

Fence or wall height limitations
KhunLA replied to Freddy42OZ's topic in Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership
If no neighbors, then first build, height shouldn't be a problem. Check with puyban to make sure. My first house was 3 meters in front, affording much wanted privacy, and many, most times, I prefer not to wear clothes when outside. Along with house have quite a bit of windows. -
so he says. Comes off as an idiot. Agree with others, can watch him, too annoying.

Couldn't have come to that conclusion because they're profit margin is much higher with ICE vehicles, and maybe know they are behind the competition in producing & selling EVs. Disposal of the batteries of EVs is and should never be an issue, as can be used when removed. Definitely a market for those EV battery banks, whether for home solar systems or solar farms. Where ever batteries are used now.

That goes for everything & anything in the 3rd world. Better when the surprises happen, than constant disappointments ????
