Pay at 7-11 for Lazada.....This option seems to be gone...
KhunLA replied to redwood1's topic in General Topics
I actually prefer COD. I used to hate making a special trip to 7-11 or Lotus to counter pay for an item. Actually avoided vendors that required it. Why would people want to pay in advance for something they haven't received. If your not home when delivered, you can do a bank transfer, or pick it up at the shipper's office later. I've even left money for the drivers. All easy enough. -
An air quality index average below 50; ... year round, NOT in TH Access to clean sea water and beaches (like the Andaman vs. the Gulf); ... Andaman is not clean either, in any developed area Access to restaurants, good hospitals, and markets? ... restaurants & markets, no prob ... good hospital, need to be in a small metro area, which mean polluted sea water. 2 out of 3 is the best you'll get, maybe. All 3 of those criteria in one place isn't found in TH. IMO

Kuwaiti man arrested on Pha-ngan Island for 16 days of overstay

Deport them all ... ???? -
Why would you expect Lipitor to be inexpensive here, or even ask about ? Prices will also be different at different pharmacies, especially if they cater to foreigners. Wife got charged a different price, cheaper, for the same thing, at the same pharmacy, by a different clerk. Almost half the price she was charged first time. Already been prescribed the generic at a fraction of the cost.

Apparently not ???? -
I do believe you are correct. Blue versions are actually a mutation. They are also not native to TH. Keep healthy, and they may be around for 15 ish yrs.

The REAL EV vehicle discussion thread.....

I'm also getting consistently better range than the WLTP & NEDC ratings, and at much higher speeds than their tests are done at. -
Here is a first. Wife car clamped for parking wrong way round.

She's lucky, inappropriate parking now carries a fine up to 2000 baht. -
If he couldn't walk, how'd he leave the hospital ? They can't keep him against his will. I checked myself out end of October, after 1 night, as they wanted to keep me over the weekend till the doc was available to check on me, before discharging. No thanks, I'll come for the follow up Monday, and the doc didn't even come in the day of my appointment ???? Took the guy how long to die, and who's to say he didn't injure himself more, afterwards. Police made the right call.

I'm betting you do also, with many of the products you own now.

Enjoy being O&A exploring, all of TH Enjoy being at home & exploring locally Enjoy my hobbies and home cookin', from scratch Enjoy nature, live near surf, <4kms away, hills 10kms away Taking in all in, everyday, with best friend & wife Not a night owl or bar person, and can't remember last time I was in one, 15 yrs maybe. Would rather sit at a coffee shop and enjoy a pastry & beverage with a view -
If happen to head to Kanchanburi for the waterfall, then the place we stayed at, overlooking a lake, had camping. Perched nicely with a view down to the lake. Food available. Don't know the price for camping, but the bungalows were a bit overpriced. https://www.google.co.th/maps/place/ภูชนินทร+รีสอร์ท/@14.3858294,99.1193354,3a,75y,90t/data=!3m8!1e2!3m6!1sAF1QipNo5Bj8OTBnZUJ0ChUMoDxhcbMnYszzzu4ndTgr!2e10!3e12!6shttps:%2F%2Flh5.googleusercontent.com%2Fp%2FAF1QipNo5Bj8OTBnZUJ0ChUMoDxhcbMnYszzzu4ndTgr%3Dw203-h135-k-no!7i1078!8i720!4m8!1m2!10m1!1e3!3m4!1s0x30e476a121ce9221:0x535c55d227efe963!8m2!3d14.3858941!4d99.1193708

PLEASE keep it on topic, as plenty of threads to debate ICE vs EV & EV vs Petrol, Eco vs dirty, source of energy for CS ... bla bla bla ... THANK YOU Thread is about how to use, your experience, good or bad. Reviews of CS you used. Copy & paste of a previous Out & About (O&A) post we did. Our only one, requiring use of CS. You'll notice we stuck with the MG CS, since only one we were registered with, as a last minute O&A, with itinerary changes along the way. For the long winded version: https://aseannow.com/topic/1276247-ev-owners-…-real-life-experience-help-thread/page/4/#comment-17756935 CS details/review, short version: PKK - HH - Kanchanaburi - Krung Thep - HH - PKK All CS are not equal: ... tester @ MG/PKK fast ... MG / Hua Hin, seemed slower (1st top up), as simply being there, not needed, only 110 kms driven. ... MG / Kanchanaburi, whoa, that was fast ... MG / Krung Thep, 1st one, no op/not a fast charger. Scratch that one for future use. ... MG / Krung Thep, 2nd one, fast and on the route home anyway. No major detour necessary. ... MG / Hua Hin again, wife notices, cable not as thick as the other CS, and probably explaining slower charge up. MG/Krung Thep ... 1st CS was no op, and the only CS, that we didn't call ahead, oops, was out of service (storm zapped). ... 2nd CS, next one close, was only 17 kms away, and on the route we were taking anyway, sort of. Simply reassured my thoughts of calling ahead was a good idea. Since we enjoy staying at ibis Riverside, we'll probably be using that one in the future, going to or from the area. Municipality, (fast) the only one, on Phetkasem/hwy #4, between Makro & Lotus, southbound lane ... Hua Hin, (bit slower charging) also the only one, on Phetkasem rd, between Bluport (closer) & Market Village, northbound lane @ soi 96 MG / Kanchanaburi (fast), couple petrol stations across the street, so some food market available, and better coffee @ Inthanon Coffee: https://www.google.co.th/maps/place/MG+กาญจนบุรี/@13.9947609,99.5585508,17.52z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x30e30d95d6220a5f:0xcc25f920a4017459!8m2!3d13.9947518!4d99.559586 We registered on eVolt & Volta, but haven't tested yet. PlugShare is best site, so far, for CS location & reviews: https://www.plugshare.com/ MG has their own site for CS: https://www.mgcars.com/th/innovation/ev/charging-station

Reading my mind, as was going to start a thread yesterday on the exact subject. Then thought I'd wait till I tested the local eVolta. Off to the park with the dog now, and will start one on return. Already did a bit of reviewing MGs when O&A, but really should have it's own thread.

I lost respect with all MSM decades ago. I took Trump to point out the obvious for the most ignorant people. Still some people can't see the fake news, backed by fake fact checking. Mind boggling the level of ignorance, and dumbing down that has risen in the last few generations. Damn embarrassing actually ????

Not sure how the homeowner can be responsible for the 'thief' not seeking medical attention. That's just stupid, and leans more toward suicide than manslaughter.
