Window seats middle of the wings. As always 😉 Makes steadiest flight if turbulence. -
Flights To US Seat selection
GypsyT replied to charleskerins's topic in US & Canada Topics and Events
I flew JAL Saigon - Narita - SFO - Las Vegas on cheapest ticket, $ 637 one way, and got to select seats for free. Food (cold and tasteless Vietnamese pork) was lousy on the first leg. Otherwise very good trip. Will do it again. -
E-Visa extended to 3 months starting 15 August
GypsyT replied to freeman01's topic in Vietnam Visa and Immigration
My Vietnam friend is monitoring eVISA rules and what's going on and recently she reported "many Americans are coming in with 3 mo visas". Maybe rules are relaxing and system gets easy to use - finally. If I were in Asia I'd test drive the rules but I'm back to the US. https://www.vietnam-visa.com/guide/united-states/ -
Designer of the e-visa website appears to be insane
GypsyT replied to HermesHermes's topic in Vietnam Visa and Immigration
Just relax and use the latest one. I've visited with 3 different passports, even had a name change, but "forgot".... and used the latest one. No problem. No photos, no finger prints like in paranoid Thailand. BTW - they are relaxing on 3 mo visa rules. There are many fresh reports anyone can use "business visa", single or multi entry, for vacations. They want money! Some links; https://www.vietnamvisa-easy.com/vietnam-tourist-visa/vietnam-tourist-visa-for-3-months https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/trang-chu-ttdt- 1 reply

Used English language books: where to donate in Pattaya?
GypsyT replied to AsiaCheese's topic in Pattaya
I donate my books to B&B House, Dongtan beach. They have racks in all 3 floors. Now they know me and I can go and pick up / exchange books even when I don't stay there. They are cool and good people! -
Lima is primitive and women not very pretty. However, they do love sex and are very good at it. Anal and oral action between men and women were most popular among "Moche culture". They were smart - no babies! When I was there in late '80s I saw Moche Art exhibition at Mira Flores Sheraton. It was 90% of Erotic Art and lady curator was very willing to tell all about Moche sex habits. Very enjoyable and interesting education! Peruvian food is best! https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&sca_esv=1d77d30c05e3b912&q=peruvian+moche+sex+habits&tbm=isch&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjQwMiqie2EAxX4PUQIHVtWDU0Q0pQJegQIChAB&biw=1263&bih=581&dpr=1.5 PS. Chile in other hand can be attractive if you got EU health insurance. It is honored in Chile!

That's a good start. Forger England for now. Spend a month in Thailand together and then maybe an other in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. It's way easier and cheaper that way to get to know each other. Regarding debt; Thai chicks often have no clue how loans and banking works. They trust blindly and get cheated by "penalties" and other fees. Sounds like she suspect something's not correct. "Financial reconciliation is the accounting process by which two different data sets are compared to verify that the information within them is accurate." Remember this; Beautiful young Thai women who date us old men are not the the sharpest tool in the shed... you gotta give them some extra rope. Show some love and just pay of the loan without any future requirements to get your money back. If she pays, fine, if not suck it up and be quiet. I did that, paid of 350 000THB car loan and 8000THB "late fees", after sharks were getting aggressive and threatened to confiscate her new CR-V. She loves her new car and it clearly is very important to her self esteem. I doubt she ever pays me but that's OK. She drove me to everywhere and probably do so in the future too. We are not dating any more but are good friends. Good friends are hard to find. One night stands are easy...

The company is selling 25-count tubes of 1 oz. Canada Maple Leaf Silver Coins online for $675. The front of the coins features a maple leaf, and King Charles III is on the back. The coins are non-refundable, and members can purchase a maximum of five. Costco is trying to replicate its recent success with gold bars. It began selling $2,000 gold bars online in September and sold more than $100 million worth of the bars last quarter. What do you think? Smart or not? How easy to sell in future? And to who to sell if in hurry? https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/why-costco-selling-gold-bars-173244588.html

I want to be around to see what happens. I'll be in New Zealand's highest hill overlooking the sea. Lot of fresh wind will thin out nukes. I'll eat lamb chops and live deep down in earth cave with Kiwi girl friend(s). They are very nice and know what man wants... got taste of few in London's Kensington Hotel in early '80s. They were starving students working part time there as night clerks and said; "If you pay cash we give you better room and later come to see you are comfortable". Who can turn down such an offer? Not me! Yes - they were nice!

Visa free entry to China for six countries
GypsyT replied to my friend I's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
You beat me to it, absolute sh*thole. Two International "Bar stool warriors from Pattaya...." -
That's what I thought but then, just after I sold the land in 2013, similar to this happened; https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/05/12/us/kilauea-volcano-lava-leilani-estates-hawaii.html I was lucky... Today land is again very expensive. People forget Kilauea is the most active and the whole island may go up in smoke. Maui is even more expensive. But if you got money to burn Hawaii is a good place to die. I still am Hawaii land owner; I have a cemetery spot in Kealakekua 🙂

If that happens that would be end of USA. If US can't handle 1 million Mexicans, half of them working, think of 150 000 000 Russians on welfare... Pretty empty victory.

Yes, Erdogan is a Snake Oil salesman. And Putin's pal. He's milking billions of Euros a year from EU for refuge camps, which are very well run, but his own citizens are starving...

Hungary, Yes, but Turkey is one of the strongest in the world! "The GFP index denotes Turkiye as a Top 10 global military power. For 2024, Turkiye is ranked 8 of 145 out of the countries considered for the annual GFP review."

Putin needs to do nothing. American voters take care of putting Putin's man in with his 1/2 Russian kids and 100% son in law 🙂

Any tips in booking a seat on the train from Hanoi to Hue
GypsyT replied to ravip's topic in Vietnam General Chat
When I wanted to travel from Thap Cham to Nha Trang I had to go to the station and show my passport! My Vietnamese friend wasn't allowed to buy the ticket for me. On the ticket was printed: "Foreigner" but got the same low price. The trip was nice and cheap 🙂 -
Baltic countries have very good intelligence and are fluent in Russian and how Russia operates. https://news.err.ee/1609274853/lithuanian-intelligence-russia-preparing-for-long-confrontation-with-nato "Belarusian armed forces personnel are preparing to work with nuclear weapons." "Placing non-strategic nuclear weapons in Belarus ties it even more closely to Russia and strengthens the latter's determination to maintain control over Belarus at any cost," the report states."

I'm currently in "The Hell Hole" Saigon, on the way back to the States to pull out all the funds before Trump's wrecking ball goes to work... I already miss Nha Trang.... My new favorite place in Asia. Yesterday I met my old Vietnamese friend first time face to face and it was great. We've been writing on LINE Chat for 6 or 7 years. She's so pretty and sexy and the best thing is she doesn't seem to know it... Vietnamese women are very loyal and trust worthy and keep their promises. I took her to a Thai (!) restaurant. At first she wasn't amused but after great meal she was so happy 🙂 Me too, I don't like heavy Vietnamese "pork everything" cuisine... The bill for two, with special fruit drinks, was only 214 000VND or 308THB or $ 8.60. Vietnam IS bargain! I choose "Daily Seafood Special 99 000VND" 2x at Chill Thai's Airport location. https://www.chillthai.vn/

NetanYAHOO belongs there too, up front.

I wanna be ready. Checking places to be and where to keep assets; https://visitworld.today/blog/1749/the-safest-regions-of-the-world-which-is-the-best-country-if-world-war-iii-happens - New Zealand sounds good. Beautiful nature, danger loving people (crazy jet boat racing in canyons and other motorsports) and I got some old friends there from the US who went back home after making a fortune. Like my pal Rod; http://leadfootranch.com/corporate-events/ What a beautiful place he got!

Cost of living and where suggested in Vietnam
GypsyT replied to GregBow's topic in Vietnam Visa and Immigration
"Everyone's opinion that I respect, and has spent lots of time in both (Nam & TH) tell me TH is better, much better." When it's so easy and cheap to go and check by myself I prefer to do so. I also like to see all countries in Asia. I do listen others, like I did when I backed out of FL retirement dream. I got very good advice here. Thanks for that! -
Cost of living and where suggested in Vietnam
GypsyT replied to GregBow's topic in Vietnam Visa and Immigration
I hope they start to issue 6 & 12 month visas soon again. I could see buying a condo here, in Nha Trang. I've been very happy in Nha Trang for 40+ days (I got EU passport which gives me 45 days visa free). Way better for me than Jomtien area where I used to be in Thailand. Cheaper too; 5 star hotel w breakfast less than $30/day for 2. Negative things are heavy dangerous traffic, noise and pollution. However, positive things are more numerous and this is a place I could live in retirement at least 5-6 months in winter. PS. Everyone gets 30 day visa free to Phu Quoc island. Easy to go and check if you like it.
