It's a very tough question. Thailand has nice vibe, smiling people and great inexpensive food. Cheap to live too. Thailand, even Pattaya and Jomtien, are very safe places 24/7. People, men and women, are sleeping on the beach. Try that in America! Maybe best to stay here?

I saw the same (?) cream color w red top Volkwag... sorry, Bentley, parked on Dongtan beach close to beachball court where hot Russians play in mini-mini bikinis. Later at night same car was cruising Pratamnak up and down w 2 hot blond young chicks dancing on the back seat. The driver, a black guy straight from QC magazine, was filming and driving at same time. They had fun! Like straight from Hollywood Boulevard.

If Jomtien office; Skip "asking". It take just a little more time to get paper TM30 -:) That way no worries and stress getting extensions. Specially when they give them "1-2 days prior to expiration date".

If possible take all papers and proof and walk to Immi and get paper copy of TM30. I always do this. 2nd reason I do this; I have noticed with paper copy on my passport they don't care if I've been in many different addresses which were reported, or not reported, to Immi when I go to get 30 day extensions. Thailand is 3rd world country in net anything...

I loved to live in Lake Mabprachan BUT the air quality was so hot and "thick" and no breeze. Now back to Jomtien beach, a block from ocean, higher floor to get fresh air 24/7. no need to run AC. What a difference! Now THIS is heaven -:)
