I did some hospital work early on as a very young man and never fit in. There was always something odd about hospital co-workers. I never could put my finger on what it was and assumed it was just the environment with sick people, etc. I even got fired from a couple places. Not really bullying, but lack of acceptance. I have also met nurses, mostly male ones, that had that same weird vibe even when they were not at work. One was a gay couple that lived next door that kept coming over onto my property and chopping down my ivy because it was growing on my side of the fence.

I see it more as people bouncing problems off each other, not bullying. Nobody wants a problem or negative energy so they need to transfer it onto someone else. Content people tend to like solitude for that reason. It's at extremes in prisons. The first thing most inmates will do to someone new they meet is make "their problem, your problem".

I don't care how a visa works. I just want a clear understanding on how long I can stay.

Many guys want to let go in Thailand. Want to let it all hang out. Some of those guys, are one of those guys, who look better with their shirt on. Are you one of those guys by the pool?

I wonder if the plastic waste gets trapped in the gulf like a toilet that won't flush. It pushes ashore with the current then when it rains it washes back in and repeats.

Youtube is a done deal. Maybe you had a chance when it just became popular, but once everyone starts doing it your chances go down the drain. Similar to starting your own forum and trying to get active participants. An uphill battle, people just stay where they are for the most part. The question is, what's the new thing where there's a chance of getting in early and developing a following early before everyone else?

I would do that. Travel the world. The problem is cost.

Songkhla further south near Hat Yai is much better. Beautiful swimmable water and nice sand. It's a bit isolating though, lots of muslims who keep to themselves. I felt like I stood out too much when I was there to be comfortable living there long term (I don't like attracting attention). Has the mermaid sculpture on the beach.

I'm going to try Hua Hin for a month. Rates on airbnb are much less for a month, usually similar to a couple weeks so no rush. Not into arriving without a place and searching for housing.

Earbuds work great even without the phone in hand. Listen to music. A lot of keeping people away is mental.

Maybe, but probably not very common. It's also hard to get one for doing yardwork.

I think you need a work permit to volunteer here.

What a dumb assumption. You could be hit with a huge tax bill all at once assuming that.
