Their tribalistic mindset frequently hides behind the facade of liberal democracy and Christian humanism. Interestingly, they rarely (if ever) oppose atrocities committed by their own oppressive Muslim regimes against millions of people. However, when it concerns Israel, they suddenly adopt liberal and humanistic stances. Hypocritical liars.

It is very easy to advise Israelis what to do and what not. Especially if your life is not in permanent danger created by your terrorist-jihadist-islamist neighbors. Most of the Hamas sympathizers on this forum would be ready to kill hundreds of people if only it was necessary to prevent their own children, parents, wives from being harmed. But israeli children, parents and wives - who cares? Let’s pretend we are great humanists taking care of every human life out there. Bunch of hypocrites.

Anutin urges Phuket officials to get tough with foreign offenders

Although I acknowledge that Russians are often perceived as rude and may have weird drinking habits, it is evident that in recent instances, it has predominantly been older (comparatively) Western Europeans who have caused trouble. Many of them visit here with the intention of feeling like millionaires and playboys simultaneously. However, when they realize they are neither, their frustration and aggression start to show up. It is difficult to overlook definite sociopathic tendencies among this group of foreigners. -

Picture of Israeli soldier holding Thai flag causes a stir

The stones were never enough for these animals. Those stoned boys used to explode themselves in the crowded Israeli malls, buses, restaurants… Savagery and stupidity combined with total lack of any modern education… -
Thai health pushes for alcohol-free Songkran celebrations
Hellfire replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Sexual harassment, a pressing issue in mass gatherings, was also brought up in the survey. Some 85.20% of the respondents believed that an alcohol-free Songkran could help lessen cases of such behaviour. —- Why only alcohol? There are more effective methods - mass male castration, for example. Balls-free Songkran. I wish I could work for some Thai government agency. Have a lot of cool ideas. Just for 1 million baht a month salary - I am ready. -
Retirement visa VS tourist visa. Advantages?
Hellfire replied to Hellfire's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
But don’t forget about one huge disadvantage. One should be quite old to get that retirement visa. And, regarding your positive examples… Well , I know several people who stayed in Thailand for many many years on a tourist visa (one of them I know better than anybody else in the Universe). -

Last time at Bangkok Pattaya hospital the woman at the cashier was visibly unhappy after me asking her to just give me the names of the medicines so I can buy them outside. I think she wanted me to feel myself as a kind of Cheap Charlie. Anyway, I prefer to be Cheap Charlie to being Idiotic Charlie who pays 1500 thb for 500 thb pack of antibiotics (true case). -
Retirement visa VS tourist visa. Advantages?

But I think you ignore some advantages that do exist. Like, for example, the possibility of getting a Certificate Of residence, which is necessary for some procedures (getting a driver license, for example). There should be some other, similar advantages. -

Just an advice. Never buy a medicine in the private hospitals if one can be bought outside their premises. Two-three times price difference is guaranteed. -

Once I tried a public hospital (Banglamung Pattaya). That was an awful experience. Waiting queues (for hours), the lack of the necessary basic equipment and the doctor who did not speak English and looked like she is still in the process of getting her education (young and unexperienced). No more public hospitals for me. -

I don’t see any contradiction here. I was on a tourist visa for a long time. Now, I have applied for a retirement visa and want to know about the additional benefits I could get from this status change. -

I plan to live here permanently. I heard there are payment tiers in the Thai hospitals. The lowest and the most expensive tier is for those on a tourist visa. Did I get that right? -

Yes, that indeed is obvious. What about other, less obvious advantages? For example, the cost of the health related services? -
Thai Officials Announce "Innovative" Expat Health Measure
Hellfire replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Only verbally? Really lucky… I get the reports of the shootings involving maskless foreigners all over the country. 8 years old farang boy was shot in Chayapum province this morning. Thanks God his parents were fully masked, they are alive but a little bit shocked. The Thais took this new measure seriously. Beware everybody. -

Not just cops, the criminal department. They have also informed me that if I am ever caught without mask on the Thai streets then I will be taken to the court and, most probably, decapitated and then sent back to my country in two parts by UPS (again, as I was told, all the postage fees are on the sender, e.g. myself). -

This morning 3 cops and a woman visited my apartment and gave me 3 masks in a small box. My gf has translated the text on the box and it says “special masks for foreigners and dogs”. They also informed me that after these 3 masks are used - I have to buy more for my own money. I made wai and thanked them for the visit. I am really satisfied with the service.
