Coffee is a matter of personal taste. One person's favorite brew might not suit other people at all. I am using more than 1 kg of beans per month only for myself, occasionally even roasting myself. But because of the personal taste issue I will however not recommend certain roasters or beans.

Another update if someone is interested. I did some more testing. Filter paper taped to the aircons can in fact reduce AQI to a low level of 0.10 within a few hours. The air purifier does the same and even lower within a much shorter timeframe.

Just an update. I bought an air purifyer (Xiaomi) with built in sensor to check the difference. Today morning without any filtering of aircon fitted with additional filter paper AQI air quality index 0.38. When fixing filter paper to 50% of the in built plastic mesh filter of my aircon AQI went down to around 0.22 on mid level fan, not maximum. The air purifier inproved AQI to around 0.10 on automatic mode, not maximum speed. The filter paper has definitely an effect on air quality it is however not so perfect as the purifier.

The UK licence is sufficient if you are here as a tourist. If however you live here permanently must have to have a Thai license. At least this is according to my knowledge. And the Thai license it is easy to get with your UK license.

I got the prepaid EMV card which is used in combination with the app. It is basically a prepaid debit card which can also be used in shops for purchases. The registration of the MRT card was bothersome but I managed to do it with passport and driving license. There was a QR code printed in the package when buying the card. The card can be loaded by using your bank app and a QR code within the app. You can use any Visa or Mastercard instead to use the MRT system

I only drink coffee made from roasted beans. When roasting I usually do enough for a week or so. Directly after roasting the beans need a few days to release gases. Normally ever roaster will sell the beans a few days after roasting.

Correct. I seldom go to Starbucks, only if there is no other option. I always tell them to use only 50% of the water quantity in my Americano. With this method the taste is quite ok.

I love my high end Samsung. But a phone for me is much more than just making phone calls. The excellent screen, speed and camera are worth the price in my opinion. I travel a lot and love taking photos and videos. For my other cheap phone just read my comments above in the previous answer.

I do own 2 Android phones, one high and one for around 5,000 Baht. The cheap one is used only as GPS on my motorbike. I hate the cheap one and it is a known brand name. First of all the screen quality is so bad that it is very difficult to see anything during a bike ride. And in the hot season the screen turns black with a warning " device is overheated, cool down your phone". And last but not least it is so terrible slow, often there is a long delay after typing in my destination.
