changing sim card from phone in home country
msbkk replied to Pouatchee's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
If using multiple SIM cards or e-SIM cards you have to make yourself familiar with the settings-connections-Sim manager menu. It is just a tip with your finger to change the different options. -
A consultation alone will not cost you a fortune if no treatment is done yet. In my case the problem is venous insufficiency. But important is to know what is really the problem. It can lead to thrombosis and blood clots if not properly diagnosed and treated. The doctor told me that especially on longer flights I must wear the compression socks because of the risks involved.
-
You have to consult a specialist for veins. I also have lots of varicose veins and consulted with a doctor. He advised against it because of probable side effects. I was given long compression socks to prevent further deterioration and to get relief. Of course this depends on the case and only a vein specialist can give you the answers.

All surgeries come with risks, it prolongs lives, it does not mean that you will be immortal. Without the surgeries most probably all would have died.
-
The report does not mention that the risk is high. It is just a comparison of one particular trial of 2 different procedures.
-
The risk to die is very low for a stent procedure. But it can happen in rare cases.

It is a nice place, yes. But ....I walked once there with a friend and it was a bit difficult to pass that area because there was no space left for pedestrians. The cafe blocked the whole area between the road and the beach with construction going on at that time. And there was a barrier to separate traffic and pedestrians. Just to mention. I do not live in Pattaya and have no idea how it is now. This was a few months ago.

Getting a TIN in Bangkok
msbkk replied to Foxx's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
I got one in Bangkok. Passport, Visa, electricity bill, withholding tax certificate of some dividend payments (you can use the equivalent for interest payment of your bank.) -
It is also about all the effort malls do to attract customers. The malls pay a lot of attention and investment in facilities, showcasing of products, brand placement ... Competitors could easily walk in and videotape everything to copy it. This is one of the reasons videotaping is not really wanted. I was exhibitor at a twice yearly sales show for many years. There always were guests trying to videotape or taking photos into showcases. And soon later designs were copied by other companies. These people were only visiting to steal designs.

Yes, they have to be grinded, I do that in an attachment to my blender.

Ok. But I doubt that hospitals can attract so many customers here. Most Thais with prostate problems will most probably use the government insurance for expensive treatments and not go to private hospitals. For foreigners it is the question of insurance coverage or self payment.

Rezum is a relativ new procedure in Thailand and the hospitals had to invest in purchasing equipment and training of doctors (maybe even overseas). In the US the procedure does exist since 5 years or so with lots of patients treated every day since than. I guess that this is the reason for the high prices here.

Just buy an ink jet printer and use it twice a month to print a test page so that the ink does not dry out.

annual fee charged on foreign customer credit card
msbkk replied to jippytum's topic in Cryptocurrency News
If you laugh about it that's alright. For others the card is a great solution. I use this type of card nearly every day. The deposited money earns interest and with every transaction we get points which can be exchanged against many useful things like airline miles, gift vouchers to be used for purchases and so on. And for larger purchases I can even pay in installments without any interest charged. -

Most credit cards here are free of charges if a certain minimum amount of purchases per year is reached. -
How is your lipid profile? And you will miss out on vitamins and minerals and other nutricients. This kind of extreme diet works but is not really healthy. And who in his right mind wants to eat only bacon, sausages and eggs?
-
One week is too short to really see the effects of your diet. To loose real body weight takes longer than most people expect. First of all the body consists of 60% water which is fluctuating day by day. Secondly there are always food remains in your colon and digestive system. 1 pound of fat is equivalent to approximately over 3,000 calories. The daily intake is usually around 2,000 calories. If you eat less than you normally do 1 pound of fat loss per week is a good target. And as your weight is fluctuating because of the mentioned factors it is difficult to say if you really did not loose any fat weight. And it is advisable to increase fiber in form of vegetables and salads.

May I suggest to mods to consider to close this discussion of never ending posting of insults which do not make sense anyways? -
It works for me with Edge browser. Firefox as well. Maybe try to delete cookies?

The headline "faces prison" is misleading and greatly overstated. This is theory as a worst case scenario, reality is something completely different.

Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking Int Transfer
msbkk replied to Thailand's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Ok, I personally do not have any international cash withdrawals as I do have Thai bank accounts where I transfer to. By the way I have done several outgoing transfers via UOB without any documents required. This was done by internet banking. -

Even if they would, how do ATM receipts look like after a couple of months, you cannot read anything.
