  1. OP, I hope you're able to get an extension. For future extensions, maybe go with the monthly international transfers route, a little tricky to learn at first but less risk of losing a big chunk of money.
  2. As a fellow tall slim guy I can say it's hard enough to find no-name pants @ 34x36 in Pattaya, forget about buying name brand here, better look in Bangkok or ship from overseas.
  3. Seems the last posting from that page was Jan 2021, not exactly active I'd say.
  4. If you know this already, what other info are you expecting here?
  5. In my Honda 4 stroke trimmer I use gasahol 91, both 91 and 95 have 10% ethanol which is the same as E10. Link As for the trimmer line, it depends on what you're cutting, you could always go up a thickness, (and/or get a new shape). Round trimmer line lasts longer but rips through the grass and weeds, twisted is better so maybe you just need a bigger diameter.
  6. Had our car's tires changed at the B-Quik on Sukhumvit/Pattaya Tai. No complaints. https://www.b-quik.com/th?gclid=Cj0KCQjwn_OlBhDhARIsAG2y6zOa3z1ow6LK_d-PSQO4VNw4B-I7xdM6mJTHoTr550lTDgepTRWdxAAaAileEALw_wcB
  7. I had a similar problem as the OP, had two leaks at the opposite ends of the house, both just under the roof's apex. The first fix we hired two local guys that checked it out and came back with that roof sealing paint and painted along the apex, the leaks slowed down but were still there. Second fix two other local guys doing construction on another house nearby came over with a small bucket of cement and applied it all along the apex, then painted over that, problem solved. IIRC total cost about 3 or 4,000b, and that was about 8 years ago, no problems since.
  8. My question/concern from the OP, is if they were looking at last year's abdominal films and didn't mention anything about gallstone or tumor last year, would you feel safe on anything they say from now on? I mean you could have gone a whole year with the "tumor" getting bigger and bigger.
  9. Sorry, posting too early in the morning, what I meant to say was Wise withdraws money from my checking account; not my debit card.
  10. Overpriced bland food...blech ????
  11. Simple bug bites can affect people differently, other factors to consider; age of the person, medical history, current medications, physical health.
  12. I sent money from my US bank using my US debit card to my Thai bank about 2 weeks ago and it went through without any problems. Now I'm curious if something has changed, OP please keep us posted, TIA. Edit; Debit card info off their website Wise Website
  13. Here's my question on these "no alcohol sales" days, assuming I buy my alcohol ahead of time, is there and blowback (legal or from citizens) from drinking it out in the open, like while sitting on the beach?
  14. A TM 30 is always required whenever you change your address, regardless of a 90 day reporting.
  15. Maybe change out the fuel filter?

  17. A couple of years back I had a motorbike accident and besides the scraped knee I had a concussion, with the main symptom being occasional dizziness when I moved my head and it gradually went away after 2 months. You can google "Persistent post-concussion syndrome" to help understand what you're going through.
  18. Seems my little neighborhood bars on the Darkside will have to continue closing at 3am, 555.

  20. Options; 1) Withdraw a large amount before sending off your passport 2) Get a ATM card from your bank so no person-to-person interaction/passport is needed 3) Sign up for your bank's mobile banking app and use cardless w/d with your smartphone 3) Speak with your local bank's manager to work out some way to w/d money using another form of ID

  22. Within the past 6 months a portion of my garden wall broke down and I had it replaced and rendered, I used this primer on recommendation from the Home Pro paint guys, new blocks/new render, and I asked for something that will stand up to mold/wetness; Home Pro Link
  23. Secretly?? They pretty much dump wastewater and old oil in broad daylight, nothing secret about it, and it happens all over town.
