My wife who has been in industrial manufacturing for 20 years and deals with Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda etc.... swears by Yaris. She literally thinks it's the best car for the money. She drives Honda Jazz, but only because she got amazing deal on it. Personally I don't like Hondas. Very uncomfortable for Farang. Maybe Accord would do there days, I don't know....

Hard pass for me too. I canceled my Thai insurance 2 months ago after they denied the claim on two different occasions. Even if they eventually pay up after I take them to court, the stress of waiting is not worth it. I have saved more than enough for emergencies. My wife has connections with some hospitals which is better than insurance itself.

And when exiting us it's 10k. And knowing USA it will be confiscated if not declared.

Last Wednesday I took grab to immigration. On the way back I was bored and didn't know what to do with the rest of my day, so I walked to the bus stop, opened google maps and saw that bus number 166 goes to Victory Monument. It is an old blue Aircon bus. The ride was 22 baht and it was very quick as most of the trip is on the motorway. Pleasantly surprised. Just make sure you go the right way. It is the bus opposite of tesco lotus and big c, not next to it.

Do these air filters really help that much? I know when I turn on my xiaomi it all looks nice and dandy and the digital indicator shows healthy air, but when I wake up in the morning I still feel stuffy and generally bad. Also, I remember clearly during covid there seems to be almost no air pollution at all, at least here in Bangkok. Can this really be blamed on fires or something else? Did they stop burning during covid?

I was googling Air Quality in Ukraine. Looks so good.
