There are some corrupt police. In some countries, this is caused by low salaries. I even watched an interview with a NYC cop who started getting involved in drugs. But even the NYC cops weren't paid much several decades ago. Not sure about now. I watch police bodycam videos on Youtube. The police have to deal with very scary situations, being shot at and sometimes killed. It takes a special kind of human being to do that kind of job. They are "freaks" and risking their lives for a paycheck. Most of us are sitting behind computers all day. And complaining? You'd be dead without the police protecting you.

There is still no high speed rail in the US. I wonder if the tallest midget in the circus who wins the election might do something about it.

So what is this about? Immigration? Maybe western govts should have done more to encourage people to have larger families. Like not force both the husband and wife to work full-time jobs to pay off a mortgage. Make life more affordable. Then people in the west would have had a much higher birth rate and there wouldn't be a need for mass immigration.
