But you didnt start this thread, so you are probably content staying in Thailand, so if it ain't broke don't fix it. These types of threads seem to pop up quite often. And for people who are on the fence, these threads probably add to their confusion since there are so many conflicting opinions.

Based on your posting history, you seem to be agonizing over the decision to move back. And also seems like you are highly impressionable to comments from people on here. Not sure why you are defending Canada's climate. It can be rather harsh. But then again, some people don't like tropical climates either. Healthcare is a major consideration to move back as you won't have to deal with the issues of private healthcare. If you have some money in your pocket, you can fly out of wherever you live a month or two each year and add a bit of excitement to your life.
