    how did you learn to tie your shoes? someone taught you. data in, data out. it's a form of intelligence. if a computer can do sth, then it has some form of intelligence. a calculator has some intelligence, even though it was programmed. but the prediction is that machines will begin to teach themselves at some point ... ie self-learning ... then it gets more interesting if that ever happens.

    its the case all over the world. its not just about airhead vs high IQ. it's about depth of soul (for lack of any better term), something intangible you can't quite grasp or explain. some girls have something intangible that makes them much more interesting to be around long-term, even if they can't discuss certain topics ...

    Realistically a lot of folks around the world rely on Uber Eats nowadays. If you have a maid that cleans once a week, how many people actually clean their homes every day? Just suggesting some of these issues may not be the end of the world.

    I agree. Also with crypto, not sure anyone has mentioned this ... but crypto is entirely reliant on the internet being functional. If the internet ever goes down for 24 hours, you can't access the crypto during that period.

    I don't believe there is such thing as matching food with wine. I believe that is pretentious nonsense that was completely fabricated. I believe any wine goes with any food. Some people believe in God, other's not so much.

    the home is not made by tesla. maybe they want a high-profile person promoting their home. a lot of homes on the market like this. other companies make much nicer ones. these types of tiny prefab homes will become more popular in the future. part of it is climate change. part of it is cost of housing is out of reach for many.

    jesus, that's a lot! how much of that would you say is the wine alone? if we blindfolded you, would you be able to tell the difference between a 10,000 baht bottle of wine and a 1,000 baht bottle?

    Vimeo used to be free, now I think you need to pay. Theres a lot of short films on there that no one ever heard about. A lot of them are better than hollywood. And they get their point across in 20 minutes or less. People should give short films a chance.

    no. are torrents ethical? in a world of economic disparity, it arguably is for some folks to use torrents. is it ethical to freeload off filmmaker's work if you have a certain level of wealth? especially since netflix is not that expensive?

    closure of many branches is a fact around the world. some banks are exclusively online now ... and they offer better returns on deposits because they have less overhead.

    OP, you can run away. But that would be the easy way out. You can also view the situation as a challenge and willingly take on the challenge. At least stick around to find out what the problem is and try to help her out in some way.

    there will be more controls on how people spend their money. but they're not doing it just because they get their rocks off controlling people. climate is not a 'scam'. have you figured out how to handle the problem of millions of migrants being displaced due to environmental issues? of course not. it's above your pay grade.
