  7. daycare / babysitters I think research shows that kids tend to do better with 2 parents, but maybe those stats are only relevent if both parents are pulling their weight. if either parent sucks, then maybe a one child home is not an issue.

  9. must be nice to be a grown man and have the luxury of acting like an adolescent on an internet forum 24/7. so that means you don't have any real problems in life to deal with. good for you.
  10. a bunch of middle-aged men with a string of failed marriages on a forum discussing romantic love is sad.
  11. sorry to derail the thread, but can I get a philosophical point in? there's way too much emphasis on "romantic love" in western culture, both through incessant love songs and hollywood love stories. this is probably causing more harm than good as the real world doesn't operate on romantic love. these romantic love illusions are creating a lot of problems in relationships. people expect "to be loved for who they are" based on romantic notions and complain that women are only after money, but that's closer to reality than anything in these love songs. just watched this video by a psychologist. highly recommend it.

  16. If Freud were still alive, he might have a field day with the psychology of this thread. So you're putting yourself above all the other 500,000 farangs? All farangs are scum except YOU? What would Freud call that? An inferiority complex manifesting as a superiority complex?
