  1. good. you've bypassed the egoic mind that's constantly worried about what other people will think of you. and you didn't need any LSD to accomplish it.
  2. Sorry, I just have to get one more jab in. The name of "The Godfather of AI" is Yoshua something. Wasn't another name for Jesus Yeshua? Odd, no?
  3. I'm taking a break from the forum. Wasting a lot of time on here. One for the road ... I just learned this whirling dervishes ... DMT gets released in their brains ... that's why they twirl. or one reason.
  4. Another comment for any diet folks on here. There have been several diet debates on the forum. This tech guy just referenced Dr Peter Attia. Dr Peter Attia admits that it's difficult even for doctors to synthesize some of the scientific data with regards to healthy diets because there are "too many confounding variables". Perhaps that's why there is so many conflicting studies. So they will be using AI more and more to synthesize the scientific studies.
  5. well, now the guy claims ChatGPT passed the US medical licensing exam. not the same as surgery, but still scary/impressive ... however you want to look at it. and also passed the BAR exam.
  6. language is a non-issue. find a Uni student and buy them lunch to translate for you.
  7. dear chatgpt, please re-phrase gamma quote into a haiku. Pickaxe swings so loud, Fascinating her with thuds. She cannot look away.
  8. sunmaster, you might like this ... he talks about psychedelics with movies as a reference ... and the connection between how the brain works ie the EGO. he theorizes the following: "over time, our ego can develop pathologies that trap us within ourselves, that keep us stuck in unproductive, harmful, or undesired patterns ..."
  9. I just want to make sure I understand this correctly. You're 71 and you still have the mindset of a teenager? A woman can possibly be for, I dunno, companionship maybe? Not just sex?
  10. I don't know ... I think this forum is biased towards Thailand since pretty much everyone has settled here. If I find a Mexico forum and I can probably find a bunch of expats there who think Mexico is better than Thailand.
  11. not sure, but i think you can apply for mexican citizenship after 5 years of permanent residency. which means access to health care. there's around 1.6 million americans living in mexico. how bad can it be?
  12. with the possible exception of Indians wearing ridiculously thick gold necklaces. but this guy isn't Indian. he's british.
  13. elementary, watson. Bajaj was an IT guy. IT guys do not start fights. I rest my case.
  14. that's above my pay grade. surgeons will be guiding the robotic arms, at least initially. maybe the IT guys are over-hyping or projecting decades ahead. even with driver-less cars, i think they underestimated how difficult it would be to implement.
  15. yeah, i had watched part of that interview. they want robots in the home, but can't figure out how to make them cheap enough.
  16. I think the AI will be performing surgeries. They have steady hands. I don't know how much an AI surgeon costs. If it's 500K, that's a surgeon's salary for 1 year. Then the operating costs are much lower. Maybe these IT guys are over-hyping ..
  17. I'm not religious either. That's a good story. I also gave an example of a job interview with bad omens and the place turned out to be cursed. Felt like a character in a scripted horror movie.
  18. Just watched a video about Angkor Wat. No one knows who built it. So there was an ancient civilization. Also, it was based on Hindu cosmology . The earth is flat with mountains surrounding the seas. Then a bunch of other realms ... sth above the sun and sth below the earth.
