Well, if you break into someone's home, there's a chance you will get shot. In this case, were they just trying to restrain someone who was trying to steal their property until the police arrived? But if someone keeps fighting back and refuses to allow themselves to be restrained, then this type of thing can occur.

I think I will try to find some activated charcoal tablets. They can be used for food poisoning. The poison apparently gets absorbed into the charcoal or sth ... At the first sign of an upset stomach after eating something dodgy, I might pop one of these into my mouth. Better safe than sorry.

apart from some decent healthy food, 7-11 has all manner of junk food and everyone is eating junk food. and they also sell cigarettes don't they? never noticed as i don't smoke. these types of places exist all over the world. they're called corner stores.

western countries have a welfare system, unemployment insurance ... thailand doesn't, so that might be one reason.
