  1. Lazada has never let me down.
  2. Long overdue.
  3. Supposedly, they will burn your Bible in front of you. Strange, since it includes the Hebrew scriptures which Muslims accept.
  4. I’ve had the same problem with Cloudflare. I could not get into my American bank account because of this. I will try switching the VPN off and on and see if that works.
  5. Religious schools are exactly where religion belongs. Muslims are not going to “assimilate” anyway, so they might as well be “driven” to religious schools. Not sure what to do about the Sikh thing.
  6. Good move. Keep your religion out of my face.
  7. America is now providing comedy relief for the entire world. I can remember when even our enemies respected us. These days, the USA has become fodder for comedy shows and satire magazines. Sad.
  8. Any altercation that results in death should mean the death penalty for the perpetrator.
  9. I would encourage you to assume room temperature, but I have already put you on ignore, which will solve my harrassment problem for the immediate future. Bye, loser.
  10. Why take a chance? There are too many things that could go wrong. Dump your stash down the toilet and be safe. I don’t take any chances where my freedom and money are concerned.
  11. I did some research on this and found (in typical Thai fashion) that unless your body is more or less in pristine condition, they don’t want it. No cancer, no missing organs such as gall bladder or prostate. I thought I had found a way to avoid the high cost of being cremated, but I was wrong. There’s always a catch.
  12. When asked how many days Thaksin has to wait before applying for a royal pardon, Wissanu said: “That can be done within [the first] 24 hours. But I don’t know if he will do it. I can’t answer this for him.” According to Wissanu, who is also serving as the caretaker justice minister, the process calls for convicts to submit their written appeal to the King for a royal pardon. “But they have to wait for two more years to submit a new appeal if they are not granted a pardon [in their first attempt],” he said.
  13. A royal pardon can be given at any time for any reason. Amnesty occurs every two years.
  14. The REAL Thailand is worse than the lowlifes in Thai society. HISO Thais are horrible people and would have you killed if they could.
  15. Anti-white racism is nothing new. It has been going on for quite some time. We whiteys are responsible for ALL of society’s ills.
  16. Fortunately, I am almost beyond my years of sexual activity. That frees me to tell them to be satisfied with room and board and to <deleted>.
  17. Use an agent. “Seasoning” is something you do to enhance the flavour of food. Only the Thais use it to mean parking your money in a bank for a predetermined period of time. Agents solve all problems, unfortunately they usually charge too much so they can bribe Immigration.
  18. Bob is in touch with reality. The crowd that thinks Thailand is paradise are the problem. For now. Thailand is cost-effective for this American, but things are rapidly changing. Thailand wants to gouge foreigners for every last baht they can get. It won’t end once they bankrupt us.
  19. Thanks for replying. I had overlooked the “ignore” tab which will send you to “Felton’s Phontom Zone”. The sheer idiocy that suggests that I DID NOT “plan” my retirement, shows the depth of your stupidity. I planned based on the available information at the time and the prevailing Immigration rules in place in 2015. I cannot possibly predict the changes in policy that mostly depend on the Thai “cash grab” mentality. Now that you are safely on “ignore”, you can mumble to yourself.
  20. “a mere 400k or 800k a year”. Another Ritchie Rich farang who wants Thailand as his private country club. Not all of us were born with a silver spoon in our mouth. Just another snob who looks down on the average retiree as if we were asking him for a handout. Whether I leave or stay, WILL NOT be up to you and when Immigration decides YOU need to go, who will speak for you?
  21. I am very aware of the benefits of Cambodia. It is basically my “Plan B” if Thailand should continue its policy of ousting farang in favor of the high dollar.
  22. I am aware that Lazada does not deliver to Cambodia. What is the replacement used in the country? Is Shopee operating here? Is there a chance that Lazada may operate here in the near future? Living in Thailand, I have gotten used to using Lazada to acquire many items. Obviously, I’m looking for a replacement if I should relocate. Your thoughts???
