  1. It's these kinds of controversial ideas that Trump should be implementing, removing the vote for women would relegate the Democratic party to second place for enternity most likely, as the party is currently propped up by 18 to 30 year old females. Without them, the Democrat vote tally would fall dramatically. After that is accomplished Trump could then tackle the real issue, namely removing the vote for non-home owners and thus America could embody the true ideal of Greek democracy. Not this wholly perverted version we have to contend with today. For even Nietzsche knew "The equal for the equal...and the unequal for the unequal".
  2. It's not for a shop sales girl to decide, or even to know, if Trump is competent or not. Whether he hurts their pocket now is not an indication of competence. Rather his competence will be be possible to judge in the passing of time. Much like with Reagan.
  3. I would have to disagree. Mercury was a more histrionic singer than Elvis, but it's hard to imagine Mercury doing a better version of Can't Help falling in Love, Then again Elvis could improve on We are the Champions.
  4. Quite so. It is sad to see grown men, not childen, a grown freakin' man, reduced to posting absolutely false lies, like some affidavit from some case that was dimissed due to being lies. So desperate. So silly. So pointless.
  5. In one interview in 1957 Elvis said "Let's face it, I can't sing like Fats Domino. I know that.". Elvis repeatedly called Fats Domino the King of Rock'n Rll. And Blueberry Hill is pretty good.
  6. Trump made America sexy again. That beast!
  7. So Zelensky is coming after all?
  8. There is: Winners.
  9. Yah, that's true, it depends on the items and obviously Big C has the better selection. I prefer Tops for shopping or Rimping because they have all the expat food, but it costs an arm and a leg.
  10. BYD sold more Hybrids than EVs in 2024, they're merely following the money. Across the board. https://www.reuters.com/breakingviews/hybrids-snag-precarious-pole-position-byd-2024-10-03/
  11. Of course Hybrid is the way to go. The CEO of BYD has said so. Toyota has been saying it for years. Who wants a limited range EV when you can get a Hybrid with excellent range of 2100 miles. Honda is just following what China's BYD and Toyota have already decided.
  12. I think I'll trust the Encyclopaedia Britannica over some AI from China, but thanks.
  13. All wrong., goes to show how you can't trust AI. The Roman author Pliny the Younger mentioned the settlement as Juncellus (after a local reed) in his chronicles. By the Middle Ages the name had become Jumilla or Jumyella. The Arabs called the city Gémina Aamlet or Geminalet (“Country of the Sons of Amlet”) until it was taken by Pedro I of Castile in the 14th century and repopulated. https://www.britannica.com/place/Jumilla
  14. She's practically 50 years old! I'm defecting to the Cambodian side.
  15. That would be sensible, the only concern is that these drug cartls are like the Hydra. They cut off the Colombian head, and six new ones emerged in Mexico. Let's suppose they succeed in decapitating all Mexican cartels, most likely some new South American vaquero will step in and start smuggling drugs to the US. The allure and pleasure these drugs give is so strong that everyone knows that there'll always be a market, no matter what the laws. People will always want drugs. The only way to really eradicate it is to legalise drugs, but as we saw in Thailand that also has its problems.
  16. Lotus is actually cheaper than Big C. The latter is not all that cheap, especially for expat food.
  17. Maybe because wars on drugs have been tried before and always failed? Seems like a waste of resources.
  18. No problem. Just install CX file explorer on the phone. Then set up your laptop on the network option in the ap and you'll be able to move files both ways at the click of a mouse.
  19. Elvis was a good singer, let's not pretend he wasn't, however, he played no musical instruments to any high standard and never wrote his own music. Nobody in their right mind would say he had the musical talent of a Prince or Elton John or today the Eilish siblings. That's not saying Elvis was not a brilliant performer and singer, he was outstanding, but he wasn't an outstanding musician or songwriter.
  20. Palestine has existed for a long time, despite Zionist fantasies to the the contrary. In fact Israel only exists because Muslims were so tolerant and allowed Jewish immigration en masse. Indonesia is incredibly tolerant towards Hindus, Christians and Jews, of course some criminal can do a terrorist attack, like Timothy McVeigh did in Oklahama, but nobody in their right mind would say the US is not tolerant.
  21. You don't need USB cables. You can do it with CX File Explorer more comfortably.
  22. I found the bakeries absolutely excellent in St Petersburg when I was travelling in Russia. And the Lavash at the market was superb as well. Russian food is very underrated.
  23. That's just nonsense. In Palestine the Muslims were tolerant of Jewish immigration to a fault. And look what it got them. Indonesia is also incredibly tolerant of Hinduism, Christianity and even Judaism.
  24. Yes, he has been leaning towards Ukraine recently, I don't like it either.
  25. You live in the 90s using a Napster knock off. Really primitive and old fashioned.
