Two factor authentication (2FA) app (urged by WISE)
BenStark replied to KhunBENQ's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Not only that, but also when you are abroad. While I have the Wise app on my phone, I always prefer to use the web version, as I also do with other online platforms, because of bigger screen. My previous verification method was set as text message to my Thai phone number. When I went to Europe recently, that would mean I had to keep Thai SIM in my phone with roaming enabled. This may not be convenient for some, unless your phone is dual SIM enabled. This way I would receive the verification code in the WhatsApp app on my phone with a foreign SIM inserted, or on the tablet which I carried with me, and which I was using to connect to Wise -
Two factor authentication (2FA) app (urged by WISE)
BenStark replied to KhunBENQ's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Take a look at my post above. With Wise you have the option to select WhatsApp as verification. WhatsApp is available as an app for windows 10 and above, and web based for previous Windows versions. So even without a phone you will be able to check the code wherever you are in the world -

Chinese online travel giant reveals 90% surge in searches about Thailand

Let's see how those profits turn out, after all their products are taken off the shelves in the largest supermarket chain of Europe. There is a difference between making a profit and greed. What is currently happening with many companies shrinkflation and unwarranted price increases under the false disguise of soaring energy, commodity, and labor costs, may well have a counter effect on profits,

U.S. National Debt Skyrockets to Unprecedented $34 Trillion!
BenStark replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Yeah, this happens when warmongering Democrats are in charge -
An excellent explanation about how greedy corporate businesses raise their prices, not because the cost has increased, but only to create more and more profits. I'm sure everyone has in the past few days read the headlines about Carrefour pulling Pepsico products from the shelves in their supermarkets, because they did exactly the same. Unjustified price increases, under the excuse of inflation, while at the same time raising profit forecast 3 times in 2023

So looks as if Thai post did a good job after all. They got it faster to Australia than Australian post could get it delivered in country. And Thai post can't be blamed for the lack of tracking either, because they have to receive that info from Australian post once it has arrived there

https://energy5.com/tesla-liquid-cooled-battery-system-innovation-or-overkill What is Tesla’s Liquid-Cooled Battery System? Tesla’s liquid-cooled battery system was introduced in 2015 and consists of a series of liquid-filled channels that run through the battery pack. These channels help to keep the battery at the optimal temperature,
-
Tesla introduced the liquid cooling system in 2015, and only patented it in 2018, so i guess that is the year they started effectively using it.
-
Hmm, I didn't know that there were any liquid cooled EV batteries yet that have been in use even half that time. So, it must be crystal ball
-
Did you use a calculator or a crystal ball to make that calculation 8 years into the future?

Going by the amount of negative reviews in that listing, I'm gonna pass on it
