Massive attack on American owned factory in western Ukraine. The factory had nothing to do with military production. 600 people were working at the time but thankfully were successfully evacuated in time. What is the response from Trump? This was an AMERICAN owned business. As far as I can tell -- CRICKETS. President Trump is a VERY WEAK president. He gets rolled over instantly in Alaska. Putin knows it. The world knows it. Decent Americans are embarrassed and disgusted. BTW -- the commentator below is a conservative republican. A real one -- not in the maga cult.

What such a POV ignores is that if Trump and Putin succeed in forcing Zelinsky to surrender, the killing will NOT stop. Putin would then murder and force out millions of Ukrainians (causing an even bigger refugee crisis) any and all Ukrainians deemed not loyal to Russia or impossible to brainwash. A surrender would mean the set up for complete Russian political control of all of Ukraine and erasing the identity of Ukraine as a sovereign nation. Any Ukrainian not on board with that will be toast. Surrender is NOT the best solution!

The war will end sometime in the future. We don't know when yet. If Zelensky is still in power at that time, his potential continuation in power will be dependent on how the war ended. Did Ukraine actually win? He would win overwhelmingly if he wanted to run again. Did Ukraine and Russia agree to an end that can be sold as acceptable to Ukraine and having security guarantees much stronger than the previous Budapest memorandum? Then Zelensky would probably win if he wanted to run again. Any outcome worse for Ukraine than above and yes Zelinsky's political career would be over. Zelinsky is not interested in being leader for life like Putin. Putin on the other hand is largely fighting this war for his own REGIME survival.

Funny. Russia doesn't seem much bothered about FINLAND who would have never joined NATO except for Putin's genocidal war on Ukraine. NATO is an excuse. Putin wants total control of Ukraine and to erase their identity as separate from Russia.

He is now saying yes he called Biden's cognitive decline, and is now calling Trump's cognitive decline. He predicts a Trump total mental meltdown within 12 months. A reasonably good chance of being true prediction coming from anybody. This is only noteworthy because it's possibly the start of maga people going there about Trump.

That kinds of pales in comparison to Trump repeatedly claiming drug prices have gone down thousands of percent. With a straight face. The man dictating an insane tariff policy because he knows numbers better than anybody.

Yes and no. The war at this point is not ready for talks even though the narcissist in D.C. is pushing them for the sake of his bizarre thirst for a Nobel Prize ASAP. At a macro level neither side is going to win with their military. Both are trying and waiting for the other society (economy, infrastructure, morale, new recruits, etc.) to fall apart and not be able to continue to sustain the war. Trump could crush Russia with secondary sanctions and really help Ukraine to win but he won't because he's Putin's poodle. Even if the timing ends up with Russia winning, Russia will still be paying a big long term price for the mistake of invading in the first place.

Trump has been clear that he wants to be FEARED by his own people. He's succeeded in that. Very un-American.

I've watched a number of his clips. He appeared to be a remarkably decent judge and human being. Compassion from a judge? Who knew?

Putin's maximalist goals haven't changed one bit -- to make Ukraine not a country. Your posts smell of you agreeing with that.
