  1. I said it was wrong. What percentage of straight people have experienced housing discrimination based on their sexuality compare to LBGT people? I estimate much less than 1 percent for the former and a high number for the latter. From my own experience. Moving into a house and being greeted with graffiti saying FAGS painted on it. How often do you think heteros experience that kind of thing? Basically never.
  2. It's both and many other things as well. Maybe too complicated for the simple minded maga cult world view.
  3. Yeah I assumed it was a gay ghetto area. I don't approve of what they did. but again LGBT people are small minority and to conflate that experience if true to the general situation of LGBT is way off base. I still don't believe your story. So you wanted to move into a gay ghetto? OK. Or are you just making up stories to trash gay people and present a totally false equivalance.
  4. Yes. Is that too difficult a concept for you?
  5. If that story is true which is very doubtful, of the thousands of apartment buildings in Houston, that might be one of them. They may have been wanting to build a gay space there so what they should have done in that case is to say that most of their neighbors will be gay, just so you know, then up to you. I've seen similar things at entrances of gay bars where straight looking people are enting and the doorman saying -- you know this is a gay bar, right?
  6. Doesn't matter how you're rooting. He's a TOTAL DISASTER and the people that are going to suffer the most from his idiocy are Americans themselves. I particulary pity younger Americans today whether they're in his stupid cult or not. Because of the permanent damage Trump has already done their future is not promising at all.
  7. Yes he's doing great ruining the USA brand permanently faster than any foreign enemy could ever dream of. He'll always have his CULT. What percentage? Probably 30 to 35 percent.
  8. Just stop with the dumb act! Thailand is NOT the USA. Thailand needs foreign guest workers and makes it easy for them to work in Thailand legally in the millions. Completely different national situations. You get all anal about "law abiding" when you know perfectly well exactly what I mean -- their behavior while in the US REGARDLESS of their immigration situation. I can't be bothered with your endless pointless dumb acting noise any further. You act like a toddler who has no capability of getting any nuance. Not believable.
  9. You know what I mean. But you just act like you don't. That is super dumb.
  10. That would be fine if the fascist Trump regime was actually open to allowing needed numbers of people in legally. But they most certainly are not! Again -- comprehensive immigration reform is the only actual solution. But the republicans don't actually want to solve this. They love having this endless issue to exploit.
  11. It doesn't make any sense at all for the USA which vitally NEEDS many millions of undocumented people to do jobs almost no citizens are willing to do. What actually makes sense is to offer such people are reasonable path towards citizenship as long as they remain law abiding. Or it could be a more expanded and effective guest worker policy. In any case to throw too many of these people out is totally insane.
  12. Just stop it. You know what I mean. Don't act so stupid. Being productive people regardless of their immigration status.
  13. Comprehensive immigration reform. Yes care workers make very low pay and there is always a large shortage of them. It's beyond idiocy to deport law abiding ones. Give them a path towards legal status. So simple. So impossible for republicans.
  14. Many people think that Mayor Pete can never be president because he's gay. There is that but I think that he's too smart is a bigger barrier. Americans don't like their presidents to be that smart. Weird but true. It's a matter of popularity. In school days the most popular class leaders are never among the smartest students.
  15. It's still going but very much diminished. The focus has moved very much so to the Jomtien Complex area aka Super Town.
  16. We all know that Trump has negotiated sheit and if you ask him about it he'll say it's all gonna be great two weeks from now, and then two weeks later bupkis city and repeat that ad nauseum until the subject ic changed. What a scam artist! How could my fellow countrymen be so flippin' STUPID?
  17. I was tempted to try Mixue again this time at Central. I found the peach black tea delightful (45 baht). Of course it was too sweet but not extremely so but I was impressed with the portion of actual peach pieces which is rather a rare and exotic fruit in Thailand. So now I'm thinking that most people can find their "sweet spot" there. It didn't occur to me to ask for lower sugar like you can at many bubble tea shops. I'm kind of assuming Mixue doesn't do that but I may be wrong.
  18. How about Negombo, Sri Lanka? Retirement stays -- two years renewable. 15K USD in SR bank, 1500 USD monthly transfer, health insurance required. The 15K is not usable unless leaving. 19. Lying without consequence. That's a big part of his brand.
  20. Yes and those damnable cheaters haven't bought so much as one wing from the white house.
  21. Not condoning yeah sure but blaming the victim yeah sure.
  22. Anyone with any common sense knows Trump is on the side of Putin and was bullying Zelinsky. It's also clear that's Trump is deluded enough to believe Putin is his friend and he obviously detests Zelinsky for refusing to participate in his sleazy gambit against Biden. As far as whether Putin's poodle Trump actually cuts everything off after he bullied Zelinsky, yes he is threatening that. But if he does that the civilized world will blame him for any negative consequences from that forever. You don't know if he's bluffing or not. It would be ideal to not have anything to do with the U.S. but unfortunately the EU isn't ready. In case you think I'm partisan on this -- nope. I have criticized Biden many times for helping Ukraine enough to only to hold on and never to win. So Biden's timidity set the table for Trump's horrible betrayal.
  23. Bull. Trump tried to bully Ukraine to surrender. He's a disgrace.
