  1. I've already self deported and I think I have already accepted if my countrymen democratically elect a fascist Dictator King that I will resign myself to that tragic result. But if Trump takes power after losing, that's another story.
  2. I'm not really a George Will kind of guy, but I think he's correct that World War 3 has already started and that the west isn't facing up to that reality (but the axis of autocracy is). He points out something interesting. As World War 3 is the most important thing happening on the planet now, why is foreign policy such a back burner issue in the US presidential campaign for both candidates (which he contrasts to the 1940 US election). I guess the reason is probably the American people don't want to hear about it. It's kind of like the cliche about politics taken to war -- you may not be interested in war but war is interested in you. He makes a good point, but I have some hope at least that Harris not being a Putin loving isolationist is the much better choice to step up to the plate when facing the issue becomes a necessity. Note the opinion piece by George Will was recently published in the Washington Post but behind a paywall so I won't link to it but I have given my source that I'm reacting to. It is titled: World War III is already under way. Not that Harris or Trump has noticed. A new axis is sowing global disorder. The U.S. presidential campaign is what reckless disregard looks like.
  3. If Ttump wins the electoral college even though it may quite possibly take days or weeks to determine that, VP Harris will quickly concede her defeat just as Hillary Clinton did. But in my view VP Harris will win the electoral college, probably narrowly, possibly widely. In that case, the "fun" will just be beginning. Be prepared for a historic level of unrest AFTER election day, because if Trump loses the electoral college, that's what we're in for. This is real. It's been quite apparent to anyone paying attention for a very long time. I can't take anyone seriously that thinks Trump will just concede a loss and not fight to overturn a losing result. That is IMPOSSIBLE. Consider this the first (albeit premature) POST election day political topic here.
  4. Total garbage. But nice try. Putin is 100 percent for Trump.
  5. May I suggest that anyone spreading propaganda that Russia is a democracy that has real elections for president is a person to be ignored. Why waste your time on such silliness?
  6. So that's your main motivation to want to see a wreck of an of old man fascist take power in the U.S. then? To own the libs? Dude -- that is seriously perverted.
  7. The plot thickens. The west is gonna have to make up their minds about this. Helping Ukraine just survive rather than winning will not cut it in the long run. Hard choices indeed.
  8. You have to have cognitive issues yourself to not see that the convicted felon has cognitive issues. Of course, likely most in the maga fascist cult can see it but deny it.
  9. It doesn't make much difference. Repeating Kremlin propaganda is repeating Kremlin propaganda.
  10. What a star! This has got to be helping. Obama has Trump's number bigly. Hopefully an inmate number instead of nuclear codes.
  11. Also of course US elections have the most global implications on autocracy vs democracy economy war and peace civil rights for women and minorities NATO
  12. Just don't read them. Sorted.
  13. I don't agree. She will probably win and realistically a divided convention could have been a massive disaster. More like probably would have. Instead, democrats unified and Harris hit the ground running surprising everyone, including most democrats. Biden set the table for this. He shouldn't have run at all in the first place, but he did, and he also finally did the right thing by exiting just in time to give the democrats a fighting chance against the maga fascists.
  14. I started with Grotesquerie. I am mildly hooked so I'll keep watching but not sure yet if I'll go the distance
  15. Expanding on the potential tragedy if the maga fascist dear leader takes power again.
  16. You've expressed your opinion which I find worthless.
  17. He's a wreck already physically and mentally. If he loses there is zero chance he will run again so in my view your perceived benefit is moot. He's mainly running to dodge prison so if he does lose he will be trying to overturn that result until inauguration day. The same as the last time but better prepared and with more urgency.
