I find their hor mok talay quite decent. Most Thai restaurants don't do that dish, but seafood oriented places often do.

I can't name current US mayors except that new NYC socialist dude. Mayors are LOCAL matters so not really of interest to expats. However, the U.S. federal government policies and actions are relevant to the entire world. Saying ALL blue city or democratic party mayors are dumb is as massively stupid as saying the opposite. There are many cities where it's basically set in stone which party will control the mayor's office. There is a range in intelligence regardless.
