How do you 'bump' a car when riding a bike? The word doesn't make sense. You mean a side scrape or clip the mirror or something?

Sure, you were spending a lot before though. My AIS is 200b monthly top up via their app. It was initially a 6 month 'deal' in their shop, but as long as you top up it just keeps going. Unlimited data - maybe 10 to 15mbps?? Good for emergencies if my wifi is down. But saving 5,000b by swapping wifi for sim card is about 1 hours work per year! I'm not yet at peak frugal 😉

I wouldn't have thought of that, so thanks. But in 1.5 years i've only ever used cashless ATM withdrawals and never updated my bank book. It still shows 500b 😆 When is the passport number change a problem?

Ah but here lies the fundamental problem - i'm absolutely not investing the same amount, because generally speaking the crypto guys don't have it. I'm cool with 5% on +£1m in the stockmarket. 7 or 10% is fabulous. I don't need it with 20 years expenditure (and growing every month) in cash. I'll be invested for another 30 years, so x6 or x8 maybe? Good luck to those who need to risk it but i'm not one of them, thankfully! -

Terminal 21 have a few condo exhibition stands until 12th march. Pre built off-plan mostly. Chatted to one: Lucian skypark in jomtien. 40sqm 1 bed for 5.5m. But not ready until 2028!

When 20k gets you 70sqm, there is always a compromise (for me). Maybe location, age, facilities, decor ...but usually its a bit of all of them. Whilst it would be great to have no short term renters, they are not a big problem unless they make a lot of noise late at night.

I keep 1.3m in the thai bank. I don't have the visa requirements. This is for day to day spending etc. Tiny amount, don't care about % My money is all in the UK.

I was forced to use a phone sim when i came here on holiday, a few years back. Absolutely terrible. The drama trying to run my business. Had to leave the condo (weak speed/signal) and go to central festival where it was fine.

I have 200b/month AIS unlimited data sim + 3BB fibre in the condo. My concerns are not cost but ensuring business continuity.

555 hopefully you are not taking the p*$$ Using a phone as a hotspot in your condo instead of getting wifi installed. Seems to be popular for some. But i probably have more pressing needs than the retired gents.

I've set many up, in my younger years. Typically its to cover a mortgage debt and they come with 'free' life cover. The self employed liked them. You specify an end date at inception, usually retirement age. They cannot be extended, not in UK anyway. If you are over age 50, forget it. Not the right plan IMO.
