  4. You have 1m usd in a bank account in usa ...but suddenly 14k usd is "that much money". Set yourself up there. Silly you.
  5. I bet the small 30sqm are going for close to 3m, so that would be 100,000. The base is way more than 5 years old ...8 or 9?
  6. How old are you and what retirement job are you doing? Had you been able to do some work in thailand, i wonder if you may have felt differently.
  7. What school did you go to? in l'pool i assume.
  8. People live here and keep less than 500k in their account? - it seems common, but i am amazed folks are comfortable with it.
  9. My electricity has been approx 500b a month for +12 months. I have 3 fans on me now. 1 is a ceiling fan. One is on all night. I have every electrical device. No desire to spend next 40 years under air con. Bad for my immaculate health. Not a tree house, maybe a modest 6m baht to buy??
  10. Its wetherspoons though. A tshirt in primark is £2 but its not the norm.
  11. Guys i know have no interest in travelling around. Including me. It sure as heck isn't a money problem.
  12. You think like that, probably because you don’t live here. What you will find is many people crave routine.
  13. Basically 2 pints. £7.50 each. Easily pay that outside london.
  14. Very busy spending your life on the bog with all the food poisoning
  15. People in the west fill their days with activities they would never voluntarily choose to do. "I've had such a busy week repairing gutters, cleaning the car, visiting 4 different supermarkets etc"
  16. Its for the sea-sick folks 🙃
  17. It will be stationary! ha! I recall it looked really great on board though.
  18. Asiatique
  19. I know its easy to move the existing characters to different keys, but if the £ doesn't exist, it obviously can't be moved, it has to be imported from a list of characters. I suspect you have to set the whole keyboard to UK and then move around all the out of place characters to match the keys! ...??
  20. What brand is it?
  21. Yeh but the level of predominant varies by manufacturer. Eg. HP seem to use the smallest thai letters. Also no £ only usd on number 4. Not great when you're in uk finance. Have to do letter mapping or whatever its called.
  22. Good that you can do it smaller.
  23. I brought 2 laptops from the UK when i moved here last year. Which was good because - every laptop has thai script on the keys. That would be so annoying to use.
  24. Its called scalp micropigmentation.
  25. Righto, yes i'm the athletic/low body fat version. Body weight exercises are my staple. I respect the effort bodybuilding takes, but most guys then just look like fat blokes when they get older. The really serious ones are usually doing all kinds of bodily abuse too.
