  2. 2% here ...probably in top 0.2% for age
  3. Sick from all the salty-ness? nothing stopped you from being awesome too.
  4. In my 20's my dad said to me why bother with the gym, its not going to last. I'm having the last laugh now. At 48, I will confess i look fantastic 555, feel great. Girls love the dancing pecs and six pack. Also got a mate who's 68. He dresses young, good energy. Looks great!
  5. Load of nonsense. As if i need more taxable income anyway. The capital from my house doesn't just dissapear you know. In fact i'll unlikely ever spend it.
  6. Thailand has a number of mega-resort style condos that are for these people. You can get 1 to 1 care if needed. All you need is the money. Its not for those with modest amounts though.
  7. A 57 year old writing this. Do you really have a maths degree like me? You sure went a bit quiet further up 555 Why aren't you doing great for yourself and able to give this crypto ponzi a wide berth? Sit back, relax and watch SBF on TV 555
  8. Good info, appreciate the back story. No they are not wrong. But the people who put their money in may well be. Blackrock etc would've set up a tulip futures fund, back in the day, given the opportunity. They have no skin in the game. All they know is that to be first attracts funds and annual fund management charge. They have 832 equity and fixed interest funds alone. Whats one more?
  9. I think the only way he would know that is if he had received the number. He hasn't.
  10. 'Self Assessment UTR number' which is 10 digits. Unique Tax Reference. I think it might be that. Govt gateway number is 12 digits.
  11. Had (and currently having) it pretty easy. Not worked full time since 35. Now lording it up 555 on my elite visa at 48 in thailand Some folks put in a shift though. I hope reincarnation doesn't exist!
  12. Its just a bitcoin futures fund. No actual money going into bitcoin to make it go up. Do you understand the difference? Blackrock win if it goes up or down, kinda makes no difference to them. Its FUA that they want and they want it before someone else gets it. So how much you putting in?
  13. The cheap copies of Bluetooth headsets with mic are not very good. You need a good brand like plantronics. I just use wired now.
  14. 2023-2020 = 3 years. You sure about that maths degree?
  15. Interesting, so did i. Can you still do calculus? Integration with limits, differentiation. I used to do actuarial work as my first job out of uni. I can smell desperately seeking high returns from a million miles away 555
  16. Yes! ....over the decades i've been meeting various socio-economic clients. Tell me where your prediction skills come from?
  17. You listen to nobody's opinions. You are even predicting the future. If you're so good at that then why not a milionaire already?
  18. I'm not giving you any. I do investment advice professionally, have done for decades.
  19. I don't do punts really. Either its suitable for +£100k or i don't bother. I'm only in equity funds and term deposits now.
  20. Whats the relevance?
  21. Right. I guess you shoukd have stated why you mentioned S.A. Have you heard of investec? I use them - not for a bank account though. Also originally from SA. Find me a bank thats never been fined!
  22. I'm not thrilled with their offering. No secondary market, very limited diversification. Nobody with only £75k should be anywhere near this. In the past i used, i think 4, P2P providers, non of it commercial property: 1 got sold, the other 3 wound down and stopped taking new money. Had about £300k at one point. I still have tiddly bits in lending works and funding circle that are on natural run off's because cannot sell loans.
