  1. My understanding is that the forms are filled done in blue so that it is easier to find what is written on the form. Signing in black or blue on copies is up to the officer.
  2. Before my wife got citizenship, I was always allowed to go through the foreign line with her (green card). Never asked for support proof. I know it is a little different situation, but you can ask to go through with her. Not knowing where you arrive, but at Seattle, you both come out of immigration in the same area.
  3. If time is single stranded then by sending it back they would change their existence, since how could they invent something that already existed. If time is multi-stranded, then they could only send it back to a time strand they don't exist on, so if someone on the strand that we are on invents it, we would never see it.
  4. Looks odd, quite short. The one on the otherside doesn't look like it is in place either.
  5. Somethings take time and here in Thailand, maybe a long time. But here where I live north of Korat, I haven't seen a truck hauling burnt cane this year. All have been loaded with those short cut pieces. Only one morning did I see burnt leaves outside that meant someone burned at night.
  6. Quite a few years back in Oaxaca Mexico, I saw a pigeon get hit by a car. A boy ran out and took and cleaned it, found two bricks and put the pigeon on them. Had it sold in less than an hour.
  7. I understand perfectly well. But did the people who were polled understand the "nuances". Without seeing the poll, we don't know what was asked before that question. Polls are graded as being right or left leaning because they can lead the responses. Have you stopped beating your wife? Yes or No
  8. I have to say if someone came up to me and asked "Is it OK to be black?" my answer would be "How the hell do I know. I have never been black!" I guess that would put me in the "racist" group according to a right leaning poll organization.
  9. This seemed to be a good year for limes. Not sure if we had any that big but close, and many. I have never seen so many on the tree. We juiced them and froze a lot. Some in ice trays, perfect size for cold drinks.
  10. I have never been asked for a pin number when using my card in a store. Would you tell someone your pin number? It is bad enough that the security code is printed on the card.
  11. Last day of last year https://fiscaldata.treasury.gov/datasets/treasury-reporting-rates-exchange/treasury-reporting-rates-of-exchange 34.52
  12. If it was spying, they may have been listening in on its communications, and where it was communicating to. If it was storing info, see what was stored. Shooting it down with a missile, does seem to be an overkill, and risked damage to payload.
  13. I guess I am the odd man out. After cleaning out the gutters and a few hard rains, I store the rain water. 14 years now. Guests from out of country have never gotten any form of sick. Back when I was a young avid hiker, nothing tasted as good as water from a mountain stream. Few I knew would drink it, afraid of Giardia. They really missed one of the best parts of the great outdoors.
  14. People that wear them tend to work outside under the hot sun. When they take them off, there is the border line between their very tan face and the very white top of their heads
  15. I see, I thought you were going to find a photographer for prints.
  16. The last hotel I stayed in had them on the 10th floor. Maybe they can't fly that high but they know how to use the lift.
  17. Done that for 12 years, printed on ink jet printer. Can't be landscape. Together in living room, kitchen, in front of house showing house numbers, one in bedroom NOT sitting on the bed. They say they want one of whole house, but that is not possible with my house (Trees). Not selfie, let someone take the pictures with your phone.
  18. use your phone. print two to a page
  19. It was filmed in Italy, if that makes a difference https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romeo_and_Juliet_(1968_film)
  20. That pretty much sums it up. I live in the NE and find that I now will have to meet a incoming friend in Bangkok 3 days before I need to extend my visa. I hope I can get it done before the trip.
  21. Made me laugh. Sounds like where I live. But I have a few acres of land that keeps me busy enough. I'm mid 70's and I am very happy with my lot here.
  22. That of course is true, but all he is asked for is confirmation, A "yes that is my resident" may be enough.
  23. You have a US address. Do you pay tax in that state, or Fed Tax? Then just tell them that address is your residents. By law, I think, you are supposed to be in the States most (more than half) the time, but they don't really check on that. Owning property, receiving official mail at that address is prove enough.
