If you can't afford palliative care at a government hospital then you have problems.

I'm not convinced that this is a factual statement. Most Thai people would have work-related health insurance and those that don't would be covered by the 30 Baht program.

Try rocking up to a government hospital without insurance and I'm pretty sure that you are looking a sizeable bill. They bill by the day, plus medication.

And Thai hospitals don't actually have palliative care per se.. Those beds are valuable assets, not to be occupied for a lengthy period of just looking after you, as opposed to "treating" you. That uses the same resources as does treatment for people who actually have a reasonable chance of recovery..

  2. Not to mention that this supports K. Anutin's position.. so highly unlikely to be a roll-back..

Wondering how many Americans are currently incarcerated for simple possession.. I wouldn't think that many these days. But given America's ridiculously large prison population I could be surprised.

Thailand released over 3,000 prisoners, and for more than simple possession I believe. as long as case involved cannabis only.

    Over to you America.

Interesting turn given Biden was the ONLY Democratic pesidential candidate opposed to legalization.

But we still need legislation, not proclamation, so H.R. 3617 (the M.O.R.E Act, passed the House 4/1/22) needs to progress. But that may not happen. So we get this proclamation.

Thanks.. I just read it. Looks like it covers all the bases..

As a Canadian "person ineligible for entry" I, and the many (hundreds of thousands) Canadian citizens as well as others from other countries, particularly appreciate the following clause..

"prohibits the denial of benefits and protections under immigration laws on the basis of a cannabis-related event (e.g., conduct or a conviction)"

Can you please explain how a weighing scale can accurately provide any measurement other than weight? bmi, body fat percentage, skeletal bone mass, visceral fat, bone mineral content, basal metabolic rate

Electric current and algorithms. Used with compatible app.

    They are called bio-impedance scales...

I have one... made by Xiaomi.

Thailand's economic outlook might look bleak but at least Thailand does not have old Joe Biden and cackling Harris as President and VP. Thailand has that going for it and is a reason I am living here.

They were the price that had to be paid to ensure that the know nothing narcissist didn't get a second term...

And even in losing he has moved America significantly closer to the precipice. But he has a lot of know nothing supporters so America is not out of the woods yet..

    Technology..  I love it!

i read a few days ago that California is going to ban natural gas furnaces. Apparently air quality issues, but I always figured natural gas was pretty clean.

As a Canadian, we loved our natural gas furnaces. They were the only thing saving us from becoming icicles .. Central air cons not particularly common, as it's the opposite problem to Thailand. Only relatively short periods of use..

So maybe this is the future.. Combination air/heat units. Energy efficient. Same eco footprint as regular air unit because the heat is generated by the compressed gas. I didn't know this...

Sounds good to me, but hey... need to expand the outside temperature range to minus 30 Celsius to be useful in Canada!

  7. I had Leowood laminate installed over 15 years ago. It still looks great..

I had the existing tile removed and new concrete applied and leveled. This makes for the best installation. I did buy some extra boxes in case of damage. They have not been used.. yet. Well, actually less than one box has been used.

But you will fear rain. My condo is sea-facing with aluminum windows and in extreme weather, strong wind and rain, some water was entering. Result was water-swollen boards that abutted the windows. That was the first year. Windows were resealed with silicone inside and outside. Now I only fear cyclone/typhoon wind and rain.

After all this time, I'm still pleased with the look and performance...

Doesn't make you too drunk / stoned but more of a head high which you might not even feel much until you realise you are walking around Tesco with a big smile on your face. Great for daytime and socializing.

    Will order again.

Phil, you are posting good stuff, but please avoid the use of the word "drunk" when describing cannabis effects.. It will confuse the new canna-curious people,

Drunk is too tied to the use of alcohol. For cannabis we already have many good words to describe it's effects..

    Stoned

    Wasted

    Fried

    High (as a kite)

    Blasted

    Etc. Many more.

Might be a good game to see how many other words we use..

I guess you are not in Pattaya or never leave Soi Buakhao.  It's not just late middle aged men walking around.  ????‍♂️

Lots of young couples, Indians, Koreans, all types.  I would say late middle aged men comprise significantly less than half of all tourists in greater Pattaya.  Those guys are mostly just concentrated around Soi Buakhao.

As I was leaving a dispensary in Pattaya, 5 Indian men, late 20's  were walking in..

    Que the usual comments..

"yeah.. all 5 of them smoking 1 gram!"

Is the issue here about extraction or processing?

As I noted, there is no extraction in hash (IMO) so theoretically possible.

Extracts is the word they are using, but Gummies from USA available. Extracts have the potential for explosions and fire when attempted by the inexperienced. Industry, of course, has the equipment and knowledge to safely produce extracts.

Seems to be no problem getting Nepali and to a lesser extent Afghan hash
