Customer slaps Bangkok barber after trim turns grim - video
JonnyF replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
In my experience you have to be quite clear about the style you want with Thai barbers, otherwise they just give you the style they think you should have (which is often the standard Mushroom style that is popular amongst Asians). Reminds me of the old "Lionel Blair haircut" ad in the 90's.😄 Edit to remove the link to the ad as it's a beer advert - oops! -
Jermaine Jenas Apologizes to Female Colleagues Following BBC Dismissal
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
That's right Jermaine, there is. Well, not really. The BBC's standards are extremely low. If fact, your behaviour is quite consistent with the behaviour of many BBC employees. Actually, it is far better than many, the likes of Huw Edwards etc. -
Can Keir Starmer's Path Illuminate Kamala Harris’s Journey to Power?
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
My Jonny? I know you have a thing for me Chomps but that's wishful thinking by any standards. What? Slow down. Proof read. As already stated, many people who are not on benefits cannot afford to heat their homes. That's what it was for. OAP's will freeze to death due to this. Heat is vital for the elderly in a British winter. It's shameful from Starmer, especially after he criticized the Tories when he thought they were going to do it. -
The Shadow of Revenge: Putin's Inevitable Turn Toward Britain
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Yes, I did get the length of the sentence incorrect and I corrected it on one post but the other had already been quoted. But the point stands, a jail term for a Facebook post that asks a question is completely unacceptable. It's totalitarian in the extreme. -
Can Keir Starmer's Path Illuminate Kamala Harris’s Journey to Power?
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Given current energy prices, you don't have to be on benefits to struggle to afford staying warm in a British winter, especially if you are old and frail. But millionare Sir Keir wouldn't know, or give a toss about that. -
Can Keir Starmer's Path Illuminate Kamala Harris’s Journey to Power?
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Dubai?? Is that some kind of racial slur against Sunak? It is Starmer who has removed the heating allowance from pensioners, despite slamming the Tories when he thought they were going to do the same thing. No wonder he is tanking in the polls. https://unherd.com/newsroom/50-days-in-keir-starmers-popularity-has-slumped/ -

I wouldn't put anything past the OAP freezer. -
Which stabbing? There were loads of them. 5 on the last day alone. https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/five-stabbed-and-35-police-officers-injured-as-notting-hill-carnival-adults-day/ An acid attack as well. One wonders how long this level of crime/violence and blatant disrespect to the police would be allowed to continue if it was celebrating something other than Caribbean culture? Two Tier Britain in full effect once again.

Yes, best to rely on other people's interpretations rather than look at what he actually posted. If you look at what he actually posted, you'd realize you are supporting an abuse of human rights. That might be a bit uncomfortable for you. That might expose your hypocrisy. That might highlight your agenda, your double standards.

Canada Implements 100% Tariff on China-Made Electric Vehicles

But you are not Justin Trudeau. He aspires to wield the type of power that Xi wields. He also shares many of the communist/socilaist ideals. -

You google it. You were the one implying they did nothing wrong based on a cute photo. -
All you did was point out he pleaded guilty. Which as I provided multiple examples to show, often happens when people are not actually guilty. We do not have a video of that interrogation, but we do have videos of police being abused at the Notting Hill carnival and doing absolutely nothing. We do have videos of police cracking heads at patriots marches. We do have videos of police singing "from the river to the sea". We do have videos of police telling Muslims to drop weapons off at the mosque. 2 Tier Britain. 2 Tier Keir. It's there for all (who wish) to see.

JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
You seem to be implying that due to the way this couple look, they (and their children) were experts on handling dogs responsibly. What makes you reach such a conclusion? Hairstyle? Glasses? Skin colour? Nice Smile? I think we need to know more about the history of the case than just concluding based on a cute picture of what appears to be a hipster couple. I've been in nice restaurants where couples looking like this are letting their kids run around unsupervised, knocking peoples drinks over, screaming, standing on tables etc and the parents just laugh, completely oblivious to the fact they are ruining everyone elses dining experience. Perhaps they allowed their children to show the dogs a similar lack of respect? I think we need more than just a photo to draw conclusions in this case. -

Just confirms what I thought, you must hate Thailand with it's relaxed attitude to law enforcement, rampant nationalism, right wing governments and 2 tiered treatment of foreigners. Given that you think all Thais "get up at sparrow's fart to offer alms and volunteer regularly at the local Wat" you clearly don't know much about it either. Maybe best you extend those visits in the police state that the UK has become, you'll be much happier in such a totalitarian, PC environment. -

A link to a Channel 4 documentary with zero evidence to back it up. 😃 Seems you are not the only one with a vivid imagination.
