  1. I think it is the Master Agents whose house and car payments are out of line with their salaries.
  2. He was Thailand's longest serving Prime Minister. Here is a list of his achievements:
  3. Mr "Ay Falang" in charge of MI - he went after us as Health Minister when he could only do it obliquely via insurance requirement for OA, putting up Govt Hospital prices for farangs* with retirees paying the most - he is the last person I would want Hapkarn submitting his 1979 act update suggestions to. It is not going to get any easier for LT stayers here. Meanwhile everyone gets a VE/VoA maybe for 90 days, with no checks and 20k/[cancellable] return ticket. I had a one hour meeting with him once - glad I didn't have clients with me. *I don't feel we should benefit from subsidisation of prices.
  4. The fact that you haven't been asked for one in the past doesn't mean you won't get asked for one in the future. I wasn't asked for one for 27 years, only until last year. I had filed one in 2019 (?) when they had the clampdown.
  5. You obviously don't know quality when you see it.
  6. The documents required for a TM30.
  7. It seems you are in the wrong business and sound like the kind of Landlord I would give a very wide berth to. I have rented from the same family since 1999 without issue. Over that time a number of things have been replaced through wear and tear or needed renovation without dispute.
  8. All kinds of changes have been made with Police Orders without any Parliamentary involvement, including changes from 200k to 800k (albeit grandfathered).
  9. Valid for 12 months without the need for exit and reenter every 90 days? That is what is required with NON O/B one year multiple entries.
  10. I have always (since the 400k BS) handed them a 1 yr statement and never had it handed back. For Bt200 why take the risk of a refused extension is my thinking (dedicated account so inactive).
  11. Been here 27 years and never asked for a TM30 until last year. What province, one where they are still waiting to have telephone lines laid?
  12. You are never in Immigration's TM30/TM47 database - never do TM47, and if no TM30 filed, not in database and no TM30 check on exit.
  13. Sorry I ws replying to a Samuut Prakaan related ost - should have delineated. I went through the doc check desk at CW with no TM30 in my pack and it wasn't asked for, another IO came up to me as I was waiting and asked to check my docs (I said already done that) and she told me I needed a TM30. The IO for extension cross referenced hard copy with what was in their records.
  14. Most are actually unconscious at the time of death - there is a hierarchy of shutting down of the body and once the kidneys shut down urea levels rise and put you to sleep like barbiturates. I agree the journey to that end stage might not be easy.
  15. Must have been an OA visa? Criminal background check required? Tattooed faces not seen as an indication of criminality.
  16. As others have said, that is a huge red flag right thee.
  17. I think I read somewhere that they won't let you in the Que without a hard copy TM30 now.
  18. Assuming your Landlord is an honest person rather than a deposit thief. That doesn't seem to be the case.
  19. We'll probably be reading that a retiree was deported after getting in a heated argument with a supervisor over the necessity of a TM30.
  20. No, it was in response to your point that while one IO at CW may say not needed, you may have a situation with another IO not sharing this view.
  21. I would advise all to ignore this. *SOME* people are reporting no TM30 asked for but it seems increasingly that chances are that if you don't have a TM30 you will leave empty handed. Better safe than sorry.
