  1. You will need to wash your mouth out with soap and water, then find a deep hole to hide in, if the EV mob ever read this thread.
  2. Not at 2 thb per day pay rise in the southern provinces.
  3. Part of the funding problem is that nobody can plan ahead that far ahead. Probably 2 years is about the best estimate. Those people who planned 20 years ago and figured out that their funds were more than adequate then may find that the funds are now just about adequate. Who in 2006 foresaw the financial crash of 2008 in the USA? Who in 2010, foresaw that Brexit would result in a huge drop in the forex rate in 2016. OTOH, who in 1996, foresaw the Tom Yang Gung crash of Thailand's currency in 1997, when the GBP forex rose to nearly 100 thb to the UK GBP? Very very few people including the financial "gurus" and the "experts" at the time. What will the Thai baht forex rate be on 1st April against the USD and GBP? Will it be up or down. Who on this thread KNOWS if they will need serious medical treatment in 2024 that may cost them all their savings or nullify their medical insurance? I doubt if anyone on this thread KNOWS what will happen to them in the next 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. I certainly don't.
  4. I had to look it up as it is a word that I have never heard of before. I think that the Australian slang word is very appropriate. Thank you.
  5. He could always ask his BFF, Donald Trump to help out with a few million $.
  6. Typical GOP/Republican/Trump response. If you can't find anybody else to blame, you can always blame President Biden.
  7. I saw this on the BBC News website this morning. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-67787667 People in Scotland are taking in XL Bully dogs as England prepares to bring in tougher new restrictions on the breed. From 31 December, it will be against the law to sell, abandon, breed from or give away an American XL Bully, or have one in public without a lead or muzzle. Owners who want to keep their dogs must apply to an exemption scheme or have their dog euthanised. The ban in England and Wales follows a number of attacks involving the breed, although owners insist the dogs, despite their appearance, make lovable pets.
  8. Then get the World Animal Protection organisation to take in and take care at their own expense every single stray dog world wide at their own expense to feed, look after and care for every stray dog. What will they do, for example, with the hundreds or thousands of tons of dog <deleted> every day, without spoiling the land and water supplies around them?
  9. Perhaps this may raise a smile to sense of humour. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=wilfred+hyde-white+daffodil+thermometer&sca_esv=593038284&sxsrf=AM9HkKkxyfUjAdLmYKVBiG11BcN9z9LJwg%3A1703236402889&source=hp&ei=MlOFZYKCNLCSseMP8Iql-Ag&iflsig=AO6bgOgAAAAAZYVhQlSAnA6gK0XrXJzFs9KkQ3abCrgN&oq=wilfred+Hyde-White+daffodil+thermomoter&gs_lp=Egdnd3Mtd2l6Iid3aWxmcmVkIEh5ZGUtV2hpdGUgZGFmZm9kaWwgdGhlcm1vbW90ZXIqAggAMgcQIRigARgKSJzoAVAAWK7IAXAAeACQAQCYAb8BoAGhIKoBBTE1LjI0uAEByAEA-AEBwgIEECMYJ8ICChAuGIAEGIoFGCfCAhAQABiABBiKBRhDGLEDGIMBwgILEC4YgAQYsQMYgwHCAgsQABiABBixAxiDAcICDhAAGIAEGIoFGLEDGIMBwgIXEC4YgAQYigUYkQIYsQMYgwEYxwEY0QPCAgsQABiABBiKBRiRAsICChAuGIAEGIoFGEPCAg0QLhiABBiKBRhDGNQCwgIOEC4YgAQYigUYkQIYsQPCAhAQLhiABBiKBRhDGLEDGIMBwgIKEC4YQxiABBiKBcICChAAGIAEGIoFGEPCAgUQLhiABMICBxAuGIAEGArCAgUQABiABMICBxAAGIAEGArCAgsQLhiABBjHARivAcICCBAAGBYYHhgKwgIGEAAYFhgewgIHEAAYgAQYDcICBxAuGIAEGA3CAgcQLhgNGIAEwgIGEAAYHhgNwgIIEAAYCBgeGA3CAgQQIRgV&sclient=gws-wiz#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:a9fced84,vid:DfKE7I-UtlA,st:0
  10. Should everybody be impressed by that? I am 79. My Thai son is 19. He can run, jump. play basketball and walk much faster than me. Am I impressed? No, because I could do many things like that when I was younger. You forgot to mention that Trump also tells more lies, has had more bankruptcies though his various companies than President Biden. He is also the first ex POTUS to be charged at least 90 times in various courts for various offenses across the USA Am I impressed with that also? Not in the slightest. He is a prime example of the saying 'You can fool all people some of the time, and some people all the time. But you can never fool all people all the time. Another good US President said that Abraham Lincoln.
  11. Thank you. It seems that only the USA and Canada were using the system in 2020 and other un-named countries. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominion_Voting_Systems There is some interesting information in the link regarding the US states of Georgia and Wisconsin and the Dominion results. in a different link from the BBC News this morning, Trump's lawyer is in a heap of trouble, partly stemming from claims that he defamed election workers in Georgia in the 2020 US Presidential elections. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-67796546 Rudy Giuliani, a longtime associate of former President Donald Trump, has filed for bankruptcy just days after he was ordered to pay $148m (£116m) in a defamation case. He was ordered to pay the sum after a judge found he defamed two Georgia election workers over false claims they tampered with votes in 2020.
  12. I don't normally eat out so lunch today was a good old British favourite. 2 fried bacon and fried egg sandwiches, with salted butter and HP sauce. No veggies. I only eat it once every 2 or 3 weeks. Lovely.
  13. Why is it, in your opinion, nonsense? Do you not have an answer, or was the question too difficult for you? OK. I will try to keep it simple for you. Was Nelson Mandela, former president of South Africa. a terrorist or a freedom fighter?
  14. IIRC when I set up the transfer with Wise about 5 years ago, Wise asked me when I wanted the funds transferred to. My visa extension is far reasons of marriage and was based on funds transferred from the UK. I had set up an account at my local branch of KBank in my sole name but the only way that I could get proof that the funds were sent from offshore was to contact the call centre of KBank and request proof of where the funds came from. I would need 2 copies of every transaction for Immigration as 1 copy is for Kamphaeng Phet and 1 for the regional office in Chiang Mai. As I transfer 3 pensions per month it was a PITA, plus It did not show up in my bank passbook as an FTT transfer. Bangkok Bank were different. I managed to convince them through using their call centre to open a sole account in my name (that sub branch did not know what to do). The next time I did an international transfer through Wise I gave them the BBK details and since then I have used the BBK. The funds show up in my statements and in the passbook automatically as an FTT. The only drawbacks are that Immigration need 12 months of statements (twice) and that has to be referred to the BBK head office and takes 3 working days, plus for me BBK branch is in Kamphaeng Phet 65 km away so I arrange for a pick up at least a week before I need it and take 100 baht out before I update my passbook. Also the bank has to put their stamp and the cashier has to sign each page of the statement, something that they did not do this year.
  15. It is also up to me whether I believe or disbelieve. This is why I prefer independent verification and not believe what is written in the first instance. What is the difference, in your opinion, between a terrorist and a freedom fighter?
  16. Do you actually have any evidence, links etc that backs up your rants. As an example in your post you allege that all lawyers are liars. Can you tell us all how many lawyers you have personally interviewed, and how you proved them to be liars? The same for the judges? Which country were the Dominion voting machines pulled from and the full legal reasons why?
  17. Up to you. I tend not to believe any government or military outpourings unless it can be independently verified. All governments and militaries are biased in their own way. They happily publish and flaunt things that make them look good (at least in their eyes) yet downplay, ignore or simply deny things that make them look bad. If it is bad they will blame the opposition, the media, the social media the people of the country, anybody but themselves.
  18. And you seem to believe that everything that the IDF and the is the trurg and that they would never tell a lie.
  19. TBH it has never bothered me how many posts I have made other than curiosity nor how many emoticons and of what type I collect along the way. I don't think that anybody has been stalking me, nor can I remember if I ever stalked anybody else If anybody wants to waste their time doing that, it is up to them.
  20. My state pension went to Wise UK on Friday and transferred to BKK Bank on Monday 18th December as normal.
  21. BUT they were NOT militants at all, They were in fact 3 oe the Israeli hostages that they IDF were searching for. They were unarmed, shirtless and waving white flags. What makes it worse is that 2 were killed outright before the ceasefire was ordered. The 3rd man was wounded and went back to the relative safety of the building and came out again unarmed, shirtless and waving a white flag. He was still shot and killed. So in fact 3 unarmed civilians were murdered by their own side. Of course if you think that killing unarmed civilians trying to surrender is OK, please feel free to give your version of what happened.
  22. But YOU give advice all the time. The advice that I give is not compulsory. It can be taken or ignored as people wish. I try not to recommend anything in particular, unlike you and if I find something that works for me then I offer the advice point out, that while it works for me, it may not work for everybody. Nor do I ram my choices down anybody's throat as you seem to do. Advice is simply an opinion, everybody can have one. I prefer to listen and read up an articles written by professionals how know what they are talking about, rather than read and listen to some anonymous person on an English forum, on an obscure website in Thailand. If you don't like my "advice", then don't read my posts.
  23. And yours is missing the vital element of reality. Those 3 m3n were NOT killed by Hamas but by their own IDF who were supposed to be searching for them and helping them. NOT murdering them. They were unarmed, shirtless and waving a white flag. Blah blah blah. When I did my 25 years in the military I was always taught that if anyone waves a white flag, it is because they wish to surrender. It was driven home year after year. Why are you always trying to defend the IDF and the Israeli government, no matter what happened? With you it is always Hamas did this, Hamas did that, without ever questioning the reasons behind it. Yet you defend the IDF with its indiscriminate bombing, shelling and trying to kill every Palestinian man, woman and child, innocent or guilty.
  24. This month I was reregistered as a UK voter. I have my friends daughter as my proxy and postal voter. I can only vote in national elections and the registration has to be renewed each year.
