Trump Blasts Michael Wolff Over Explosive New Book on 2024 Campaign
billd766 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Well if the book is discredited, then it won't sell many copies. However it seems to have received a very large free public endorsement from the "alleged" victim. Possibly far more that it would normally have received. The more that Trump rages against it, the more free publicity it will get. -
Thailand's Auto Output Drops 24.63% as Domestic Sales Falter
billd766 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
And if the banks and finance companies will not lend the money if they believe that you cannot repay it? If you don't have the funds without borrowing it, then it IS expensive. Given the current debt in the private sector, buying a new car is out of the question for many Thai people, ICE or EV. Try thinking outside the box and your comfort zone. -

Of course it does. Thousands of years ago there was NO Thailand, Laos, Cambodia or Indonesia etc. Just a land mass with no name. -

Until there is actual proof that can be taken to court and be verified. The allegations were posted in the Daily Wail which has never been a bastion of truth for many years. -

So everybody else is wrong and their news sources are fake. However by some strange coincidence you and your news sources are the only people who are correct. Really? -

The Fox news reader trumpets the Fox truths once again.

It seems as though ONLY you claim that he has stolen billions yet he is a pauper, and that he has many villas or he is a pauper. Can you not answer a simple question with a simple answer without deflection?
-
So how many does he have? Not guesswork, but actual verifiable numbers.
-
Sp if you believe that, you obviously know that President Zelensky has many villas and has stolen so much money. So tell us all exactly how many villas President Zelensky has, and how much money YOU believe has has stolen and from whom. Links and proof would be nice, but preferably reliable, rather than allegations which you seem to be so fond of making.

IMF Urges Thailand to Cut Interest Rates to Boost Economy
billd766 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I don't expect that Trump would listen to any advice accept from the yes men he is surrounded with, let alone understand it. -
I am glad to have been of some help.

I underpaid HMRC by the vast amount of £3.60. However as they are the ones who actually do the calculation, I have simply ignored the letter. It must have cost more than that to process the claim and post it to me. They will probably increase my income tax by 30p or 14 baht a month over the next year.

From Exile to Power: Thaksin Reshapes Thai Politics

As odious as yet another military coup? AFAIR going back as far as 1993. NO military coup has done any good for the Thai people or for foreigners. -
Britain’s Leadership Crisis at a Time of Global Peril

Well said, Captain Mainwaring of the Walmington-on-Sea Home Guard. -
It would be interesting to see how much real money has been saved and how much DOGE is actually costing. All I have seen and heard so far is a lot of hot air and NO figures on the actual savings and costs. It would also be very interesting to see the quoted figures and get them independently fact checked, to see if there is a difference. If you lay off people, the cost will rise due to the number of years that people have worked, The payments of course will have to come out of the current years budget and any savings may not show up until years into the future.
