  1. What a very sad comment but not unexpected from you.
  2. That is your opinion and not mine. IMO the independents will buy from the cheapest source, and not just from PTT. They have no loyalty to and company, which is why they are called independents.
  3. The cheapest supplier. Be that PTT, Bangchak or who ever is cheapest at the time, and has surplus capacity at the refinery. Buying the cheapest at the time, maximises their profits. Who do you think they get it from?
  4. Nor does it revolve around you. PTT may have killed all the competition around where you live, but if you read the comments they have not killed the competition across the whole of Thailand. The nearest PTT station to me is about 16 km away and the next nearest is on the route 1 about 60 km to the north east or at Klong Meelai about 70 km to the south east. There are plenty of PTT stations on the main highways, and IIRC plenty in the bigger cities, but far fewer in the rural parts of Thailand, which cover a far greater area, once you get out of the cities and off the highways. There are more customers but also more choice of gas stations ranging from ones the size of PTT down to little Mom and Pop shops selling gasoline in bottles and from 200 litre barrels. They are mainly supplied by independent companies. The turnover is not as high, but neither are their expenses.
  5. He was part of the conflict along with his BFF, the slimy Suthep Thaugsuban. Without them perhaps there would not have been a coup.
  6. But he does not have the authority to do that. If he tried PTP would be all over him for abusing his very limited authority. There are a lot more of them than there is of him. They are also the incoming government whereas he is a cast off from the old regime
  7. Instead of talking about me why not stick to the topic that PTT has killed all the competition. That cannot be true if Bangchak has bought out the Esso chain
  8. Possibly a much harsher punishment would be being lashed by the cat o 9 tails. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=cat+o+nine+tails&sca_esv=561856720&sxsrf=AB5stBjUzwJKLip44kG50VXlwDtRPxiCAg%3A1693551905226&source=hp&ei=IY3xZIbnCv2p2roP3qeJ-AE&iflsig=AD69kcEAAAAAZPGbMfKaj2zJEZ9LsAtr6sIAF4fezZn_&oq=c&gs_lp=Egdnd3Mtd2l6IgFjKgIIADIHECMYigUYJzIEECMYJzIEECMYJzIHEC4YigUYQzIREC4YgAQYsQMYgwEYxwEY0QMyCxAAGIAEGLEDGIMBMgsQABiABBixAxiDATILEAAYgAQYsQMYgwEyCxAuGIoFGLEDGIMBMgsQABiABBixAxiDAUi_H1AAWABwAHgAkAEAmAFxoAFxqgEDMC4xuAEByAEA-AEB&sclient=gws-wiz To prevent infection from the lash marks they could always rub salt into the wounds or perhaps wash them with seawater. Whatever the do-gooders opinion is doesn't matter. 2 children were tortured to death by their mother and stepfather. After 500 lashes over a time, it is unlikely that they would reoffend.
  9. Who cares about the rice apart from the farmer? Care about the students instead.
  10. The blame for that can be traced back to Clem Attlee and the Labour government back in 1948 when the state pension was brought in. Very few people were expats back in 1950 and life expectancy was about 67 or 68 years. Now it is 81 with less people paying in and more people claiming. https://www.macrotrends.net/countries/GBR/united-kingdom/life-expectancy
  11. No they didn't. Out here in rural Kamphaeng Phet in the big village 6 km away there are 5 gas stations, none of whom are PTT. The nearest PTT station is about 16 km away and I would have to pass 10 or 11 gas stations (including 2 Esso stations) to get to PTT.
  12. Whilst he may have the right to move to a federal court, IIRC that would be for a federal offence. In Georgia he is charged with State and NOT federal charges, so even if he wins the potus election, he cannot grant a federal pardon for himself or any other defendant in a state case.
  13. Probably many people told him, but I don't think he listens to anybody.
  14. He understands it but he cannot accept it. From today's (Friday) BBC News website. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-66676581 A leader of the far-right Proud Boys has been sentenced to 17 years in prison, one of the longest sentences yet handed out over the US Capitol riot. Prosecutors said US Army veteran Joe Biggs, 38, was an "instigator" of the storming of Congress on 6 January 2021. The former Infowars correspondent was convicted of seditious conspiracy and other charges in May. In court, Biggs pleaded for leniency and expressed remorse for his actions. Especially for @SunnyinBangrak. More BS from Joe Biggs. In court, a tearful Biggs apologised for his actions and said he was "seduced" by the crowd on the day of the riot. "I just moved forward. My curiosity got the better of me," he added. "I'm not a terrorist. I don't have hate in my heart." "I know that I have to be punished, and I understand," Biggs said. There is more in the link.
  15. It has nothing at all to do with Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam. The sooner he learns that the better. He doesn't seem to understand that he is not important and he never was. The application has been sent to someone way above his pay grade and position. It seems to me that he cannot let go of the tiny bit of power he had. His actual position, and has been since the election in May, is only a Deputy Prime Minister in a caretaker government. Somewhat akin to an office boy or a gofer.
  16. This is a song that has gone viral on the internet? I am glad that it was free to view, as I would hate to have paid good money for it. I managed to get 44 seconds into it before I dumped it. The only good things I thought about it, was that the singer has a good voice and I could hear the words clearly. This is my opinion, others may differ. YMMV
  17. On what grounds, what charges and with what evidence and proof. You know, all the petty little things that make up justice equal for all people.
  18. A great idea but to use the trains properly the whole SRT needs upgrading to dual track and to standard gauge. That in turn requires completely new rolling stock, widening all the stations, blocking ALL the illegal crossings, a new signalling system and then they need to expand the rail network into areas that it doesn't cover at present. Here is a link in English to the network as it is now. https://www.thailandtrains.com/thailand-train-map/ If you can overlay that on a map of Thailand you can see where the SRT network does NOT go. https://www.thailandtrains.com/northern-line-map/
  19. Korat is the nearest airport to me. The next nearest would be either Tak (at Mae Sot) or Phitsanulok around 180 km away. If I wanted to fly to Chiang Rai (500 km away, I would have to take a bus to Lat Yao (for Korat) a second bus to Korat and a third bus to Korat airport. To fly from Mae Sot or Phitsanulok I would have get to the big village somehow, take a baht bus to Kamphaeng Phet, another bus to Phitsanulok and another to the airport. To get to Mae Sot (Tak) I would need to get to KPP and get a bus to Mae Sot and another to the airport, and then fly to Don Muang. Then back north west to Chiang Mai and take a bus from there, as CR has no airport. There are no regular scheduled frights from Korat anyway. Thailand needs to stop dreaming and concentrate on real practical solutions to help the majority of the Thai people.
  20. Respect to a heap of metal and plastic? It is only a car.
  21. Back in 1997 Thaksin and the TRT/PTP did not have a coup government, who had had achieved nothing in 9 years except borrowing vast sums that will have to be repaid by the incoming governments, and the Thai people for generations to come.
  22. So you have no answer and no explanation. quote 'Jared is a fund manager. People that invested expect/hope to turn a profit.' Why was a fund manager part of Trump's government other than because he is Trump's son in law. What qualifications did he have to be in government in the first place? Have you ever considered answering questions that people ask you, and then backing the answer with links and proof? Not that I expect proof from a troll.
  23. Can you explain how Jared Kushner became a member of Trump's White House team, how he "borrowed' almost 2 billion USD from Saudi Arabia, and has a personal fortune of $800 million? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jared_Kushner Business career Following his father's conviction and subsequent incarceration between March 4, 2005, and August 25, 2006, Kushner took a much bigger role in the family real estate business.[28] He set about expanding the business and acquired almost $7 billion in property over the next ten years, much of it in New York City.[29] As of 2019, Kushner's net worth is estimated at $800 million. There is a lot more in the link that YOU will not want to believe due to your hatred and bias against President Biden and his family.
  24. And you believe that you know better than she does, When was the last time that you spoke to Thaksin or his doctors, read his medical history. What is your medical speciality?
  25. I have had 2 blackouts this year due to low BP and was sent to hospital both times. Yes you DO get stressed in hospital, and YES you do get fatigued. Especially if you don't have much of an idea what the problem is and how long you will be in the hospital. The first time I blacked out I was confused and had no idea where I was other than in hospital, how I got there, how long I had been out, what month, day and time it was. I had no idea where my wife was or even if she knew where I was. Do the crime, do the time, sure. That works if the justice is fair, open and honest. It does not work if the justice is carried out under the auspices of an illegal coup.
