Many dogs in Thailand are vicious and not to be trusted. I once made the mistake of walking through the village late at night and all the dogs in all the houses went wild and had they been able to escape would have attacked me. When on my bike I had a club to deal with all the dogs that tried to attack me, but they ran away soon as I took it out. I also had big stones in the basket, which had the same effect. Doesn't matter that it's a family dog- any dog can attack anyone for reasons known only to itself.

I was lucky to be born way before that, as I'll get out of this rat hole society sooner that you. It was great in the 50s and early 60s, but Vietnam ended the good times, and it's been a down spiral ever since.

It's a great feeling when we can point out that the woke talking points are BS. In woke world, apparently sea level is rising in some parts of the planet, but not in other parts. Claiming sea level rise is destroying Pacific islands is such an obvious scam to get the western world to give them lotsacash that I wonder how they can keep a straight face while pontificating. BS. I felt more unsafe in London that I ever did in Thailand, ANYWHERE. No country is "safe" but Thailand is high on the safe country list. In my real world experience, no foreigner that is polite and doesn't treat the Thais badly is at risk. I've seen only 1 instance of many Thais beating up a farang, but the one I saw in a gogo was well deserved by a thug farang that was abusing the girls.

Hopefully Pattaya NEVER EVER becomes a vile "family place". Keep the families away, as they are ruining the place. Lets have more negative media reports to scare the families away. Let them go to Phuket instead. Phuket is already ruined, but there is still hope for Pattaya.
