I'd be born a girl. Even ugly girls get all the sex they want and the guy has to do the work, plus buy me free dinners and carry my bags. Admittedly, periods and pregnancy would be a problem, but I'd have an hysterectomy which would solve both problems. Obviously I'd have to be born in the west- not going to have to wear a burka BS.

Why do some posters on this forum think that The US is responsible for everything that happens on the planet? If it's as serious as the OP suggests then other countries can front up with enough of the readies to make up for the US dropping out. There is enough money out there, except it's been stolen by rich people. Go ask them for some, why don't you?. As for HIV, the easiest disease to avoid- don't have sex with strangers without a condom, don't use dirty needles for your drugs and don't marry or have children with men that have unprotected sex with prostitutes. Seriously, we all eat far too much and we can last weeks without eating. Without drinking it's game over quite quickly. I don't know how many times we can drink our own urine before it dries up though. Did you see the Costner movie Waterworld? The opening scene had him drinking his own urine, though one would think it was reasonably easy to desalinate the water he was floating on instead, using sunshine, a bucket and a piece of glass.

It's more likely that they were "interested" for political reasons and now that it's OK to attack Trump, they saw an opportunity to blame him for not wanting the F35. If it was the best out there, they would probably buy them anyway. Trump may well think that America can do withoutcustomers outside America but the companies and workers that produce the goods sure as hell do. If the plane was as good as the US pretends it is, would they buy an inferior product just because of someone going to be gone in 4 years? If they want to sell the plane, they should make a better one. Boeing 737 and now F35- what's happened to US plane makers?

Wrong. If China is roaming the south Pacific, Australia and NZ will be sucking up frantically. It's not as though the UK will rescue us. However, NZ will have to do a much better job of having an actual military if we want the US to protect us, which will need money reallocating from woke projects- decisions decisions.

Sounds like BS to me. Bureaucrats are masters of BS. I've never wanted to be a teacher, but from what I read, it's an unattractive job that requires too much unpaid work, and is too stressful with not enough support ( like nursing, which also suffers a recruitment and retention catastrophe ). Frankly, given the brats in society, the biggest problem IMO is the students. Make a mistake and end up being penalised, especially in these insane days when a brat pupil can make a complaint over being called the wrong pronoun or suchlike insanity. As for being a male, especially a white male, might as well paint a big target on their backs. In NZ I think male teachers are an extinct species.

As Thailand is sane and does not allow foreigners to buy land they are avoiding many of the problems of housing. One hopes they don't go mad and allow it in the future.

Seems every western government is refusing to learn the lessons that are so apparent in places like Germany, and will suffer for it. Some sane policies preventing owners from exploiting a shortage of housing to put up rents would have avoided a lot of the chaos. Asian countries tend to avoid such by allowing too many residential buildings, which keeps rents down. In countries like NZ, government regulations making it too difficult and expensive to build are the problem, compounded by allowing too many immigrants for the infrastructure to accommodate.
