  1. Certain posters should understand that I have put them on ignore, not necessarily because of this topic, and do not see their posts, so they should not expect a response if they quote me.
  2. I disagree. They are taking the side of money, as usual. As long as Russians can put money in the pockets of Thais they are welcome, just like everyone else in LOS on a visa or visa exempt entry. Giving them a longer stay just makes Thais richer.
  3. If you mean Thailand not taking sides, that's just sensible as it's not their fight, nothing to do with them, zero, nada etc.
  4. Biden says he will not let Hamas and Putin win ! Is he intending to lead the troops in himself, or is he going to let other people go in harm's way? Rhetorical question.
  5. I'd love to get into a discussion about the west's involvement in supporting a certain country invading countries, bombing and killing their civilians indiscriminately and stealing land, but that would be off topic.
  6. or even pay off some of the trillions in debt.
  7. and in Vietnam it was a huge win for the communist North. In Afghanistan it was a huge win for the Taliban that hates America. Seems that since the Korean war American has gone somewhat astray in its war making.
  8. What are you smoking? Every time israeli forces raid the Palestinians looking to arrest Hamas supporters and destroying Palestinian property they leave dead Palestinians behind. https://www.democracynow.org/2023/10/20/headlines/israeli_raid_and_airstrike_on_west_bank_refugee_camp_kills_13_palestinians_including_children In the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry says 13 people were killed Thursday as Israeli forces bombed and raided the Nur Shams refugee camp. Seven of those killed were children — two of them just 10 years old.
  9. How many children is a civilized country allowed to bomb to bits before they stop being civilized?
  10. Yes they did, and we have all suffered since for that. We even had to have our shoes x rayed because of the threat of revenge attacks on planes.
  11. Given it's the israelis hurling rockets at and bombing civilian residences it's only hardening the resolve of those that hate israel and israel is losing any sympathy from the world community.
  12. LOL. In case you missed it, for years every Gazan has been confined to the strip and are 'hostage" to the israelis, or are you going to say that they can leave any time they want and return? Can they get goods from abroad through their own port, and can they use their own airport?
  13. That marina was so rusty 10 years ago that I'm surprised it still exists.
  14. That used to be a lovely walk along to the lighthouse restaurant, then they let the speedboats park there and they ruined it.
  15. You missed the parking building that destroyed the Bali Hi park, which was always a bad idea. Also the beach "reclamation" which washes away every time it rains. I'm not familiar with the "underground" parking, and google is of no help.
  16. I believe that when war starts truth vanishes. IMO it's all propaganda, on both sides. Only thing I believe is the VDO of the destruction of Gaza, given no one is denying that it has happened. When that much destruction happens loss of innocent life is inevitable. I also believe the number of deaths in Gaza as reported by neutral sources such as the UN.
  17. and you know that because...........................? How does Hamas pose a threat to America?
  18. The Americans are following the French record in losing wars! Boys in black pyjamas defeated them in Vietnam, and the goat herders in Afghanistan! Iraq wasn't exactly a win either. Now they are making a very large portion of the humans on Planet Earth PO at them with their support for israel bombing Gaza to bits.
  19. Who is the "aggressor" in Gaza right now? IMO it's the ones bombing over a thousand children to bits.
  20. Yes, I'm sure they want America to borrow another 100 billion to give away. What is it about governments that they think they can spend taxpayers money on anything they choose?
  21. That's your opinion and not supported by history. They certainly did want a state of their own. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordan–United_Kingdom_relations During the Arab–Israeli War of 1948, Britain secretly favored a total Jordanian invasion of West Bank hoping to wipe out the possible creation of a Palestinian state led by Amin al-Husseini. The invasion was a success which and secured British influence within Transjordan.
  22. Many blame America for the current debacle, but IMO it was created by the British, with their support of the zionists. Had the British not run away in the face of zionist terrorism and abandoned the Palestinians the story may have been very different. For starters I understand the British were supportive of TransJordan. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordan–United_Kingdom_relations During the Arab–Israeli War of 1948, Britain secretly favored a total Jordanian invasion of West Bank hoping to wipe out the possible creation of a Palestinian state led by Amin al-Husseini. 23. Which is why the Egyptian president has opted to not let Gazans flee to the Sinai. He said in his speech that if he did, the resistance would move to the Sinai and israel would then be attacking Egypt. He has a valid point, unfortunately. He also said that israel could resettle non Hamas Gazans in the israeli Negev desert, but IMO that will never happen as israel wants Palestinians gone, not relocated but still in israel. Apparently there are about 3 million Palestinians in Jordan, so israel may find itself fighting on yet another front, as they are plenty riled about Gaza, just as in Algeria, India, Iraq, Indonesia etc. Seems to me that israelis may find themselves at risk in many parts of the world now. They may solve the "Gaza" problem, but have a much larger problem worldwide. Muslims are everywhere, and are not ignoring it.
  24. Is that in revenge because Russia wants a ceasefire in Gaza? I'm sure Putin is shaking in his boots now.
  25. I knew when Trump first ran for POTUS that he was going to be entertaining. He has not disappointed so far. Go Trump go, give 'em h*ll.
