My experience of Washington Square was a single visit during the day. I regret now that I didn't go during the night time, so just another place to add to my list of places I should have gone to. Anyone know what it's like now?

Are you baiting? Did you not read my posts where I said it's not a good idea to own property in LOS? Did I have to spell it out that that that would apply to owning a company as well? IMO for every farang that doesn't lose his shirt by buying/ investing in LOS there must be more that do. IMO any farang that wins in LOS is an exception, not the rule. NB, I'm talking about individuals, not overseas companies or corporations. If you have any facts to prove that investing/ buying property in LOS is a good deal for a MAJORITY of farangs I'll be happy to see them.

Happily I'll never see them as I stopped watching mainstream tv long ago. Nothing worth watching and infested with advertising. Only watch Al Jazeera which has minimal advertising and nothing of that sort. Don't miss it an iota.

If one comprehends what is meant by "if you meet one of the many visa criteria." one would understand it's not normally possible if one does not meet such criteria. My advice, for what it's worth is to wait till one is 50. There is a whole planet full of places to visit in the meantime.

Fair enough. In that case I'd make it a day when I was staying in Dynasty Inn almost next door to Nana Plaza in 1996. It would be the same day, but with so many cute girls in Bkk no day would end up with the same one ( unless I really liked her ). With a flight, I could even end up going to sleep on Samui ( back then Samui was great ).
