    Ah, so the greens wanted to remain, so they had to be on the side of angels, 5555555555. I'm not familiar with the UK greens but if anything like the attrocity they are here I'd vote against them just on principle.

    Carry on banging that drum by all means, but there is IMO no going back to it. Rather than bleating on constantly, UK citizens should be working to make Britain better, but so much easier to just moan about the "good old days" when Britain was ruled by Brussels.

    One of the new trains. I didn't like it when I traveled on one from Chiang Mai as the new seats are so thin they are hard and not comfortable to sleep on. The old ones were more comfortable as the padding was thicker. I guess the old ones were well past their sell by date, but IMO more enjoyable to travel on.

    Father Ray was the best man I ever met. A tragedy what was done to him, and I'm sure it broke his heart. He never married, obviously, but had hundreds of children that loved him.

    OK, but why would I know that? I'm not American and in the British parliamentary system the speaker is from the ruling party. I looked it up.     Indeed. If it were a laptop left by the son in law of a well known person that isn't popular with the woke, and had the very same info on it, I can be certain that those so eager to say that this is of no significance would be shouting from the rooftop that it is the smoking gun that will see that unpopular person incarcerated for several lifetimes. LOL.

    The Common market had purpose, but the failed experiment of political and monetary union was a huge mistake. Britain should never have agreed to it and is well out of it, IMO.

    Roping off the beach should be illegal. The beach belongs to everyone. Anyway, I've never seen anything like that in LOS, though some beaches are hard to get to on land. There was one near Chaloklum that was accessed by a very high stairway down a cliff, but even that was open to anyone prepared to climb it.

    No, it's called "business". Blame the customers for paying too much if you want to blame anyone. If no one booked at that price they'd reduce the price.
