  1. You have no idea of what my walking was like, nor do you know what I eat. I suggest you cease the sly attempts to denigrate me. I am not the topic, so enough of the personal attacks.
  2. I don't know what his intentions were/ are, and neither do you, unless claiming to be psychic- are you? I merely asked if there is any corroborating evidence. If you don't know, why are you asking about something I can't possible know. Are you baiting?
  3. They should give Kiwis a better deal and plenty would go from NZ given the downward trajectory of the country under her. Go back to how it used to be would be good.
  4. Not unable but won't as off topic. What would be the point of spending a lot of time writing a long list only to have it deleted for off topic? Typical right wing nonsense. LOL. I'm a socialist. NB the US Democrats are not socialists.
  5. He not talking about NOW. He's talking about the future. Small spaces are like the middle ages.
  6. Poll doesn't have half hours. I go to bed usually half past the time I ticked in the poll.
  7. I went home because of number 4, but even if I had to use a big bucket of water instead of a bum gun, and I had to live on fried rice I'd have stayed if I'd had enough for the 800,000 in the bank AND health insurance. BTW, the guy obviously never had a tilac in a village if he thinks a big bucket of water is enough to make one go home, LOL. As for drinking too much, so what? As long as the guy isn't a problem drunk, so what if he wants to drink himself to death? BTW, if a guy hasn't enough to live in Thailand he definitely hasn't got enough to have a better life back home. At least it's warm in Thailand and the totty is better looking.
  8. They won't invade any NATO or country with a treaty with the west. If they want to invade Afghanistan by all means do so.
  9. If the US or a NATO country gives Ukraine weapons capable of attacking the Russian land eg Moscow, it would be regarded by Russia as an attack by the US or NATO. That's why they have not done so. Any attack by Ukraine on Russia would have to be with their own weapons. Does anyone seriously think Putin is going to "end the war"? The only way the war will end without a Ukrainian surrender, IMO, is if Putin is no longer in charge. It took a change of leader to end Russian involvement in Afghanistan. IMO Putin has gone too far to back off now.
  10. Shame they didn't manage to give him his wish then.
  11. That was then, not now. He's too old, he has too much baggage, and the obstruction by the opposition will just be worse, so not enough will get done to fix the country and after 4 years of Biden it really will need fixing, IMO. I'd like to say that not anything Democratic is bad- they did have Kennedy at least, but after 2 years of Democrat control of all 3 elements of government, I can't think of anything good they've done other than would also have been good under the GOP. However, I can think of a lot of bad that they have done. BTW, I'm really really really happy that she didn't win. He was worth it just for that alone.
  12. LOL. Some on here probably think a certain American politician is the antichrist. However, given the most common interpretation of Revelations, the coming situation in a certain country has a possibility of fulfilling the criteria for Armageddon.
  13. Sounds like a conspiracy theory to me.
  14. My biggest fear with regard to '24 is that he will split the vote an allow a Democrat to win the White House. Hopefully his children will persuade him to let it go. I doubt anyone else can.
  15. You seem really keen to expand the war. Ever considered that NATO doing more could be an invitation to go nuclear?
  16. Feel lucky? Didn't stop for me, and my cancer contained and removed entirely. The ED was easily solved with little pills. That was the least of my problems with the op. I also had problems with the join in the utrethra growing and obstructing the passage. Had to go back for further surgery to remedy that and had to use in out catheter to keep it open. Other problems like having that <deleted> catheter for a while both times. Since my op there are alternatives that I'd have rather used. If I could go back I'd use hormones instead, but never ever radical surgery. Potential problems with every option though.
  17. Many years ago they put lights on the crossings, but basically ignored. There was a VDO on the forum of a cop car driving through a red light! Eventually they switched the lights off. If they have switched them on again as claimed, does anyone stop for them? In Chiang Mai they'd stop on red but carry on through red soon as the pedestrian had crossed.
  18. 55555555555555555555 Talk about leaping to conclusions. You need no other exercise, LOL. Before I got prostate cancer I'd walk for hours, or walk instead of taking the bus. Not forgetting that nurses walk miles a day as part of the job.
  19. My "chemistry" lessons consisted of writing equations in an exercise book. No explanation given about them. Never had any experiments. Worst chemistry teacher on the planet. LOL. He was so bad I still remember him when most of the other teachers have faded into obscurity.
  20. Before I went home for last time I must have posted about 50 parcels ( not all at the same time- over about 2 weeks ). P O staff always polite and helpful. PS I had my passport with me.
  21. I liked it dull. I avoided places with lots of tourists, eg the night market near Tha Phae gate, like the plague.
  22. Probably not too long to wait for it. The only question is whether any government is brave ( or stupid ) enough to impose lockdown again?
  23. Millions live in the area ( up north ). They ain't all sick or dying, are they?
  24. All rocks. Plenty better places even back then.
  25. Marine Disco was always packed out in high season when I went in there. Rip off on booze prices too.
