  1. What is the benefit to the truck driver/owner? - Genuine question. I thought these rubber flaps were designed to reduce the amount of water being sprayed from the truck wheels onto other vehicles.
  2. I was having the same problem when trying to phone the UK. Turned out that TOT have an option for customers to bar international calls. For some reason this had been applied to our landline. TOT sorted this out quickly and I can now use 001 or 008. As others have said, if your brother has internet, you could use the LINE app or Watsap for free calls, including video calls. I only use the landline for calls to the UK government agencies.
  3. Best wishes to Millie. Could it be connected to the fogging? I was sick and listless for a couple of days after getting a lungfull of the stuff a while ago but it didn't affect the missus. You got them back, or did this happen before the "great escape".?
  4. 69 Baht for 400g on Lazada. Received a few days ago and (IMO) as good as any I have tasted here. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i3635533596-s13645717855.html?urlFlag=true&mp=1
  5. Try not to nod your head to this ... Scroll down the comments for the lyrics.
  6. She is best known for winning the 1970 Eurovision Song Contest. I had no idea that she was a sailor too.
  7. I've no idea about shipping costs but the import and registration process does not seem too onerous. https://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/moving_country/moving_to_ireland/coming_to_live_in_ireland/importing_car_into_ireland.html ... and this article gives some advice and costs specific to motorcycles. https://www.motoworld.ie/importing-a-motorcycle-to-ireland/
  8. Thanks. I think you should post a topic in the health section. Someone like @Sheryl might have helpful advice.
  9. In other breaking news: Bears <deleted> in the woods; The Pope wears a tall hat.
  10. I use Tops online regularly. https://www.tops.co.th/en/search
  11. In the aftermath of many of the mass shooting incidents we often learn that the shooters posted plenty of prior warnings on social media sites. (IMHO) All Americans should be encouraged to report these posts - and authorities should be empowered to act immediately to remove any weapons from the posters. Yes, even without any further evidence of intent to do harm. If they want their weapons returned, they need to explain themselves to the Courts.
