Are you very sure about that? A lot of pension schemes will only pay a widows pension if you were married together before you retired. Many others will reduce the widows pension if the widow is significantly younger than the pensioner. And, of course, the UK State pension no longer provides any widows benefits. Just asking. I hope you are correct.
