Yep! And all those Thais who live and work hundreds of km from their place of registration? (working in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, etc.). They will get nothing, same as the covid handouts - people turning up in their Benz' to collect a few thousand baht while others queued for free food at the soup kitchens (provided by charities, not government).

None of us are perfect parents. If you ever decide to have a family (it might be very important to your partner - biological clock and all that) simply be the best father that you can. Just like you try to be the best man, partner, friend that you can. And, having a great mother can make up for having a 'less than excellent' father, as both myself and my children can confirm.

I edited my post. I'm pretty sure that operating as an illegal taxi would invalidate any insurance. But I stand to be corrected. Lots of things are pot luck in this great country. Best to have some personal insurance cover, just in case.

Out of interest I just looked up (on Google) how much compulsory insurance cover one can expect if in an accident in a licenced Thai taxi. It's 30,000 baht! https://www.nationthailand.com/life/30279525 And, according to this article, official Grab taxis have (or will have???) 500,000 baht cover ... https://www.grab.com/th/en/press/others/thแกร็บ-ผนึก-ทิพยประกันภั/ If it is true that the woman was operating an "illegal" taxi, there will be zero insurance cover.

I prefer to think that MFP supporters want to rise above the violent red and yellow ways of violence and disorder. No good has come from any of it, regardless that it may have been justified. I sincerely hope that the MFP will disrupt parliament in every lawful manner they can until a fresh election is needed, which they must surely win by a landslide.

Great snaps Owl. It's amazing what good quality photos can be taken, even on cheaper phones. And you don't even need the visit the chemist's to get them developed.

The oven and the pizzas look great.
