  1. That was me. What I suspect is that these international certificates are being prepared at a central location, and then issued by which ever hospital the application was made (in my case Patong). Again, here is the receipt that I was given. I'll post information on the 23rd (Thursday) once I get it. I also stumbled across this thread, at first not realising that it was in the Chiang Mai forum. Quite a lot of information here:
  2. What they told me in Jung Ceylon when I asked about going to Chalong Hospital, they told me no, Patong or the Phuket Provincial Hospital (known as the Aor Bor Jor hospital, tel 076 358 888 give them a call to make sure).
  3. Take a copy of the certificate Chalong hospital gave you, as well as a passport copy. It's a standard 5 days between application and receiving the International Certificate. You can fast track it, but that requires copies of actual flight itineraries showing less than 5 days before travel.
  4. They kept both, the original and the copy. I'll make sure I get the original back when I collect the international passport this week. The 'domestic' certification is also in my installed Mor Prom app of course.
  5. For verification, I'm guessing that PCR/ATK test results can only be entered by a system administrator, not the app user.
  6. Fully vaxed with two doses of AstraZeneca here in Phuket, just under 12 weeks apart, and at no cost. Have also paid/booked for two doses of Moderna from Bangkok Hospital Phuket, apparently available in October.
  7. No it's not. Those are two screen shots of the Mor Prom app that I installed on my phone this morning, one of the home/menu page, and the other of the 'Vaccine Covid-19 Certificate' page (which is identical to the paper copy that I handed over in Patong Hospital yesterday in application of my 'International Vaccine Certificate'. Reading about this in another thread, it appears that it's standard that the 'International' certificate takes 5 days to obtain (photo of the receipt and the collection appointment on the 23rd, i.e. 5 days). The international certificate bears a strong resemblance to a Yellow Fever certificate, which many of us will be familiar with. I'll post a photo once I get it. I think some confusion has been caused by those receiving their doses in Karon had/have to get their certificate from Chalong Hospital, whereas those at Jung Ceylon get their's issued there immediately after their second dose.
  8. Did the Mor Prom registration thing this morning, and yes, entering the 13 digit number from your vaccination is really all that's required, brings up your full name, passport number, DOB etc. These screen shots from my phone. The vaccination certificate details are correct.
  9. Must admit, the document terminology isn't that great. Here in southern Phuket, Expats have mainly been vaccinated either at a hotel in Karon, or the Jung Ceylon shopping mall in Patong. I was assigned to the latter, and had my second AZ dose yesterday (18th). Now, reading in the Phuket forum, where most of the contributors had been to Karon, and mentioning that a subsequent trip to Chalong hospital was required to get a Vaccination Certificate. So, I've got it in my mind that I too am going to need to go that route to get a certificate. Yesterday, after my jab, a second stamp was put in my passport and I received a document. I asked if I needed to go to Chalong hospital to get a certificate/passport and was told no, Patong Hospital. So, I go straight there and gave the document that I'd just been given, and a copy of my passport. Now, I have no plans to travel internationally, and only wanted whatever it is that will allow me free movement within Thailand. Turns out that the document that I'd been given was exactly that, the Vaccination Certificate, issued in Jung Ceylon. So, at Patong Hospital I was given a receipt (see photo), and I need to go back on the 23rd to collect my 'International' document. Meanwhile this morning, installed the Mor Prom app, inserted the 13 digit number from the sticker on my passport, and bingo, recognised me (full name/passport number/DOB etc) as well as showing the Vaccination Certificate (screen shot attached). Bit of a long post, but if anyone else can glean some information or insight from this, that's fine. Edit: Apologies, I hadn't realised that this thread was in the Chiang Mai forum.
  10. That's not the certificate, it's only the receipt (applied for 18.9, to be collected 23.9) for the application for an International Travel certificate. As I said previously, the certificate that I was given at JC I had to give Patong Hospital along with a passport copy. I'll post a photo of what I'm given on the 23rd, as well as the Vaccination Certificate that should be returned to me.
  11. Looks exactly what was given at Jung Ceylon, though black and white and no charge. Staff there from Patong Hospital.
  12. No, I'm pretty sure that it was the actual Vaccination Certificate not a working slip. I handed it over, with a copy of my passport, at Patong Hospital and was given this receipt. As you can see, it's definitely for an International Travel certificate.
  13. Right, I'm starting to think I've made a mistake. What I got in Jung Ceylon was another sticker on my passport, and a Vaccination Certificate. I asked about a 'passport' and was told that I could obtain one through Patong Hospital. I believe now that the Vaccination Certificate that I was given is the same document that those vaccinated in Karon had to go to Chalong Hospital to obtain. What Patong Hospital are going to give me on the 23rd is a certificate for International Travel.
  14. My second AZ at JC Patong midday. As with the first, lots of people there, with the longest wait being to get the certificate and passport stamped after the vaccination had taken place and the paperwork handed in. I asked about the vaccination 'passport' and was told this could be obtained at Patong Hospital (not Chalong which is a bummer as I live in Chalong). So, round to Patong Hospital I go, needed passport copy and a copy of the certificate that had just been issued to me. Given a receipt and told to come back on the 23rd of this month to collect the 'passport'. Obviously at odds with what happens at Chalong Hospital, where it's issued there and then.
  15. Details for each province are published in Thai News Reports late afternoon every day.
  16. Wrong. In the circumstance of death of a spouse, the visa/extension remains valid until its expiry date.

  18. I made this recipe recently, came out very well. https://www.bestrecipes.com.au/recipes/pickled-beetroot-recipe/exbftjqi
  19. A new record high this morning for Phuket. 256 confirmed cases plus another 2 in the Sandbox, as well as 10 more ATK positives.
  20. Chaofa West in Chalong, heading north. Traffic lights just before TOT offices (on right), next to a Family Mart just after lights on the left. Usual array of washing machines etc outside. https://goo.gl/maps/NUYiMv2xCkRTrtHC9
  21. Find the comment on movies, series and kids TV odd. The extensive movie library has all the latest movies that you'll find in the torrent sites, as well as the series. Amongst the TV channels, there are at least six dedicated Sky Movie channels of different genre. Quite a few dedicated children's channels also.
  22. Dear oh dear. Just had a look at the link you posted. A Russian service that doesn't tell you what you get, such as channel information etc. I think Mickey Mouse wears an IPTV Rocket watch...... With Pulse you don't need a VPN. You aren't downloading anything, you're streaming. You also have to compare an outlay of 10,000 baht a year against 27,000 baht (True) and the difference in content and quality.
  23. RTB Animal Hospital has a branch in Phuket: http://rtbcenter.com/new/en/map/
  24. There seems to be a reasonably accurate account available of 'Sandbox' arrivals each day (see image). What is missing of course, are the reciprocal numbers of departures. I think there's no doubt that having reduced the mandatory 14 days Phuket to 7 with the option of 'corridor' destinations, the numbers actually choosing to remain in Phuket will decrease. The last week has certainly seen a decline in the overall numbers of international arrivals, which given August and September are the real depth of the 'low season' is not to be unexpected. Given the latest decision of the UK to red list Thailand and thus mandatory (and hotel to be paid) quarantine on return, could be a significant impact. Of course, the acceptance of the Russian vaccine as 'acceptable' could have an impact on Russian arrival numbers, but of course there have to be the flights to justify them.
