  1. As above, make an appointment. In and out in minutes.
  2. I think there is a link on the immigration website for the VFS e-extension service, perhaps that is where some of this confusion is coming from.
  3. I had a neighbour who resolved the issue quite nicely. He and his wife found a girl they both liked and from then on shared. His only complaint was that the girls seemed more into each other than him, nevertheless worked out acceptably for the three of them.
  4. Whatever floats your boat.
  5. Immaculate? You presumably mean the paintwork.
  6. You have to make an appointment here....https://thaivisasvk.com/vabo/index.php/make-an-appointment Chances are you wont be able to as they are moving to the e-visa system from next month and in person appointments stop in a couple of weeks.
  7. I would avoid using the term "border run". But next explain you will visit nearby countries several times but your final plans have not yet been made.
  8. Just hit the "Quote" button
  9. You are unlucky. It is not a requirement at many embassies. I'd still try with 1 in/1 out and an explanation of your further plans. Here is the requirement as listed on the London website; "Travel booking confirmation - Flight details showing applicant’s name, departure date, all flights en route from UK/Ireland/UK territories to Thailand and onward ticket to another destination. "
  10. Likely that or similar would be good enough, if they come back asking for more just explain your plans.
  11. Visa exempt - no problem (remember onward ticket for airline check-in), 60 days + 30 extension possible Single entry tourist visa - no problem, 60 days plus 30 extension possible Multi entry tourist visa - no problem.
  12. My understanding has always been it's one "visit wife" per visa/entry. So if that original non-O was single or multi is important, also if you are still in country on the same extended entry as when you got the wife extension. Others may confirm or otherwise correct this understanding.
  13. The notice issued by Savannakhet (and Vientiane) suggests both unusual payment requirements and a rather long processing time. If either of these come to fruition remain to be seen.
  14. There are appointments available for an extension based on retirement. At least there are at CW. It might be useful if you were more clear about what you are trying to apply for "visa renewal" and where.
  15. You misunderstood them, they said they has a nasty itch afterwards,
  16. You'll have to apply for an annual extension. No big deal really and you don't have to leave the country. You'll be able to get the extension on the back of the visa you just got.
  17. Well it's starting next month and not only will your 70 minute wait be gone but also your multi entry visa. They are not offered in the e-visa system.
  18. Climax? I went there 6 months ago, shortly after it re-opened (or is there another one coming?) If I remember there was a cover charge, that could keep the trash away. It was actually quite pleasant with good music and certainly not any overwhelming Indian influence or crowd.
  19. Had she not filed a complaint, then what?
  20. I know many people who stay in Thailand on a "retirement" non-O extension but work either outside Thailand on rotation or for foreign companies from home. When applying for a "retirement" visa or extension you will not have to lie or withhold any information as you will not be asked the question. You will only have to demonstrate that you are over 50 and have the required money in your bank. Having said that I see no reason why you shouldn't try for the DTV as you seem to meet it's criteria. Nice to have the choice.
  21. I use my Wise "virtual" card for anything online, including Lazada. It's preferable as if somehow compromised it is easy to create a new virtual card rather than the hassle of getting a new physical one. I have 2 physical cards which I use when essential, hotels, etc. My cards all stay "frozen" until actually needed.
  22. 7-11 it works fine. Supermarkets and most shops in malls. Only issue is a relatively low limit for a "tap" payment - I think it's THB 1500.
  23. My breakfast yesterday. Won't be happening again.
