  1. I think his point was/is that only Jomtien ask for 2 months seasoning of the 800k for the initial single non-O when converting from an exempt entry.
  2. In that it's highly likely that the fake tablet will not have the cut and paste specifications as advertised.
  3. It means, for instance, that my 900 baht Birkenstock (fake) shoes although of a lower quality then the 4000 baht originals, are perfectly functional and indistinguishable from the real thing without a side by side comparison.
  4. When I have knowingly bought fake Chinese stuff from Lazada, mainly clothing, they use original photos from the genuine items, cut and paste descriptions from genuine websites. The stuff is fine but obviously fake and lower spec So I would think it is highly likely that you won't get as advertised.
  5. You didn't read this thread did you?
  6. Of course it's fake. But it's so cheap why not just buy it?
  7. But for the "elderly" is an end of life choice. If their life ends slamming into a concrete pole then perhaps that is preferable to months/years dying slowly of some chronic illness.
  8. 10 seconds on google and it's clear what the pricing should be, but certainly not $400 for a body from Thailand to the UK. However as usual the story has virtually no information, doubtless many additional costs. Nevertheless 35k is surely gouging in extremis.
  9. Maybe he did, but they don't sell insurance covering illegally riding a motorbike.
  10. Fees are one thing but the most important is how many THB you get. This is normally where Wise wins even with an apparently higher fee as their conversion rate is normally significantly better than other providers.
  11. It depends how you fund the transfer - just go to their website, you can input the information and it will tell all.
  12. They won't transfer it. Just take both passports when you leave the country. Or do you intend to extend your stay?
  13. Kasikorn does, even on its basic savings account, but the amount is not worth worrying about.
  14. My plan would be; Get a non-O e-visa before you leave. You only need to show the equivalent of 400k in your home country account, together with a copy of your marriage certificate, etc. Sort out a Wise account that you can eventually send money to your Thai account from. Enter and get a 90 day entry. In the 1st 30 days re-activate your bank account, or open a new one, and deposit the required 400k. You will need a TM30 when you extend. 90 days is irrelevant.
  15. Google will have you believe it's 45, hopefully a real person can confirm.
  16. Or, as in this case, stupid... "He admitted to reaching for kratom leaves to chew while driving when the truck lost control and crashed into the rear of the parked 22-wheel trailer at full speed"
  17. Normally it's 30 or 45 days only, depending on which office.
  18. Now they are an e-visa location there is no real difference applying there or anywhere else, but you're right about the food.
  19. If you have already applied for an e-visa from Cambodia you are supposed to be in that country when you apply, and they most likely will ask for proof of that. And you don't grab the visa, it is emailed to you.
  20. You don't "renew" your non-O, you extend your permission to stay. But to do so you must meet the financial requirement. The OP doesn't, hence the issue he has.
