  1. Landlady should do it, not you. Somewhat surprising she has no idea. But if you won't have any dealings with immigration during your stay then don't bother with it. When you stay in hotels during your trip they will do it for sure, but still not really of interest to you unless your plans change and you need an extension. There will be no issues on departure.
  2. Go to your profile, select >>settings>>region>>English. Then chose one of the options - I have English (United Kingdom) selected which gives a British female accent for the English and a Thai female accent for Thai. I have to say I can't find any option which gives a male voice so there might some other setting hiding somewhere!
  3. It was a lot easier 25 years ago. Non-O, multi entry was available if you could name someone in Thailand. That was it. That went 15 years ago or so. Then you could get a non-O multi entry based on marriage or over 50. That started to disappear 10 years ago also gone now. Things have changed over time.
  4. So you'll be just fine. The whole subject is about mobile banking.
  5. You can do it on arrival. Did you not read anything about this before today?
  6. Yes, but this is about driving licenses. I am sure an agent can sort this out in 5 minutes.
  7. You don't download the form or send it anywhere. You can't fill it in until 3 days of arrival. Then it sends you an email.
  8. For a driving licence it's not an issue, they only want an address. I got a license with a Surin address, when I was in Pattaya.
  9. The reports so far suggest that if you have done it they can already see it on their system, based on your passport. So the need to present anything is not indicated, although it would be a good idea to have it just in case.
  10. But the agents can provide them, that is for certain.
  11. TT rate. And yes, but not much, 500 baht perhaps.
  12. Personally, I would write a brief letter exactly as they are asking for. They are ticking a box, no need to over complicate matters.
  13. That's the interesting bit. Alleviates the worries of all those without phones/printers, etc., that were filling these threads earlier.
  14. Indeed. But as the forecast states it is the most I can get. Paying missing years now will add nothing. Previously the forecast did show how many years were needed to get to the full amount, and I did add those years.
  15. See, the TDAC is working already, Occupation, "Armed Robber".
  16. I am not sure they are ever the "best" option. Likely the cheapest. Depends on your priorities.
  17. Should still be the same process but as mentioned above, someone else will have to make the application. It won't be a problem, he is British. Unless he really needs the passport it might be easier to wait till he's older, depends why she wants it renewed now.
  18. How old is he? Over 16 he is an adult. He has to use VFS. That's the only option in Thailand. And renewing a UK passport does not need anything relating to his parents. It should be a simple process, there are agents who can assist in case of need. Go here and follow the process; https://www.passport.service.gov.uk/overseas/information/thailand/renew/adult
  19. I believe the BA flights were a seasonal addition that ended last week.
  20. I've got it on my phone, tablet and laptop. I don't pay anything. (Play store set to Thailand)
  21. I'm glad Mukdahan is on the map, I was beginning to think it was a nothing kind of place. Now in the space of a week we've got a potential Airport and Anthrax. What's next?
  22. After security, just before immigration desks....
  23. It only covers limited medical expenses and life cover. I does not cover damage to other vehicles/property.
  24. I tried it and I got ..... "Your SIM can be used continuously. No further action is needed. Thank you for choosing TrueMove H."
  25. "already on retirement exstension (sic)"? What are you actually on right now? If already on an extension then it's 800/400/800.
