  1. The instruction from the TDAC website says download or print; "8. Download the Thailand Digital Arrival Card. You can also download or print a copy from the email address provided for the duration of your stay in Thailand."
  2. The point being made was that getting a non-O (single) in your home country does not require a Thai bank account. And once you have entered with a non-O getting that Thai account for an extension is very easy indeed because you now meet the banks requirement.
  3. There have been lots of thread on this topic. All points have been addressed. In summary; State/City - Use the information from your passport. Thailand "residents" cannot enter Thailand in this field (yet). Same advice. Phone Number - The paper TM6 also asked for this. Nothing new, enter any number you like. The country code will default to that of your stated home country but that can be overwritten. Departure - this is optional information. Do not enter anything in this section. It seems they will accept the QR code on paper or on a "device". Note that it is not you that "uploads" the QR code, you simply display it for the immigration officer to read. And finally, for the unwilling and/or incapable, it can be done on arrival. There will be a facility for this. But is it is likely to be busy it is probably best avoided.
  4. When you select the mode of travel the options change for mode of transport. Bit odd really, hard to imagine the value of some of this information.
  5. You will enter on the new passport using the re-entry permit in the old. No problem at all.
  6. The unwilling and incapable will be assisted on arrival. Hopefully the queue won't be too long for you.
  7. Aha, must be a kids thing. Something I'm thankfully long past. Anyway, now you can use the auto gate yourself and meet the family after😅
  8. I was answering the question about departure details, not related to residence.
  9. Not correct. Only if you enter a date and add a mode of travel do the asterisks appear. Leave it blank and you can pass on by.
  10. No need to wait. They work weekends, my last was approved on a Sunday..
  11. Any time in the 3 days before arrival. Up to you.
  12. I don't believe Chinese check in staff have any way to check your visa number. I think they may have just believed you.
  13. They have already said that there will be a facility for the incapable to complete it on arrival. In any case there is no requirement to have a smartphone, if you can manage to complete it before leaving wherever you are then it is surely easy enough to find a way to print the thing.
  14. But, as everybody knows, the "big day" in Pattaya is and always has been the 19th. What has changed over the years is the start date which is now also earlier than elsewhere. They used to tell me the reason was it allowed people to go home for the traditional holiday without missing out on all the fun when they got back.
  15. 1) What are these new Auto gates and what are they used for ? Use on departure at BKK. 2) Should I go through them ? Yes 3) Do they stamp your Passport ? No 4) I will be travelling with Thai family, so can they also go through these new Auto gates, if I can ? Yes.
  16. .... which it appears that not all of them do.
  17. Where are you doing this? Try here; https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login
  18. I have never asked anyone. Just do it. Three times now at BKK, re-entered by land once, BKK once and DMK once. No issues and correctly stamped in according to the re-entry permit date.
  19. This suggests it might be until midnight. Then goes back to normal. https://www.motorway-m81.com/

  21. This form should help. Any additional KK specifics cannot be ruled out. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Transfer-Stamp-to-New-Passport-Form.pdf
