  1. I understand the date you apply for your very first extension does count as day 1 of your 90 day period. But thereafter not on subsequent extensions.
  2. You don't have to notify anybody. Just enter after it has expired on a tourist visa or exempt entry, up to you.
  3. My (ex)wife was adamant that indicating gave you priority and others had to avoid you. Seems she went to the same driving school as the lady in this tale.
  4. He's talking about next year and beyond, not this trip.
  5. So that's your suggestion? Get a job?
  6. Get a new single non-O in the UK while you are there next summer. Enter early October. Get an annual extension on that 90 day entry. You new extension date will be early January, therefor applying for the annual renewal each December.
  7. You CAN but you don't need to to renew a passport.
  8. That's not the point. They want a full copy of your passport in order for you to keep hold of it in Thailand as you are legally required to do. Other countries ignore that requirement. Who's right or wrong is moot. But it's hardly a difficult task in any case.
  9. No they don't need it. Did you even look here already?...... https://www.passport.service.gov.uk/overseas/information/thailand/renew/adult
  10. Indeed. I overlooked the non-Thai element.
  11. An old thread, but may be some use;
  12. The e-visa website states the following; "Financial evidence showing monthly income of no less than 40,000 THB or having the current balance of 400,000 THB, e.g. bank statements, proof of earnings" Individual embassies can have their own rules but it's not going to be much different. You could probably use an equivalent amount in your home country, you certainly could do so if applying in the UK, USA, etc.
  13. I'd be inclined to get a multi entry tourist visa if you intend to spend a similar amount of time here next year. You would probably not have any issue entering exempt but eventually you will be told you need a visa.
  14. I think prices have reduced. Champagne used to be 4k+ and now there are many choices 2.5-3k. Perfectly drinkable reds can be found in 7-11 for 350-500 and not "fruit wines". That was not the case before.
  15. Alternatives: Chase gives 3.5%, Wise currently gives 4.26% (not guaranteed)
  16. I never "get on the tins" until I get home from the pub. There is no fixed schedule for that.
  17. Yes, and it's Tuesday already😆
  18. J&E Concierge have an ad on FB stating 7000. Might be worth a try.
  19. UK guidance, for example, is maximum 6 pints of 4% beer per week. So your 20 x 3% x 330ml beers exceeds that was far as total alcohol is concerned. Plus the fact that anyone saying 15-20 will likely be considered to be 20-30.
  20. Highly likely to be the reason.
