A quick look at VFS and it suggests if she is on a type C visit visa (which presumably she is) she can apply from the UK. But her visa needs to be valid for 3 months after the time in Schengenland.

I think all Beer Lao varieties use rice, as do many other beers. Whether or not (or why) it should never be added to beer it still ends up as a better than average drink. Chang also has rice, maybe they should add more.

As far as I know that's always been a requirement, certainly was for the 2 applications I made last year. And both times wanted not only evidence of your residence/presence but also full details of travel plans/bookings from the relevant country to Thailand.
