What are the re-entry requirements for Thais?
Upnotover replied to heiri007's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Thailand Pass is not on hold. Test & Go is on hold. Thais apply for Thailand Pass for AQ or Sandbox (Phuket) as before. -
Is It Safe To Have A Booster 3 Months After 2 Shots Pfizer?
Upnotover replied to Chris.B's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
It used to be 6 months in the UK, now it's 3. Presumably they did some checking into safety. -
Cash Handouts Offered to Night Entertainment Workers
Upnotover replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Nothing new there, I've always paid cash. -
Well, GOV.UK says "The next of kin must provide proof they are related to the person that died and inform the embassy in writing who they have requested to make the arrangements" and when you click the inform the embassy link it pops up an email link. So presumably email is their preferred communication method.

Flying to Phuket after arriving Helsinki -> Bangkok
Upnotover replied to plus7's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
You cannot transit in BKK, you must fly directly into HKT. Luckily Finnair are flying HEL-HKT (AY151) so ought not be a problem for you. -
Wise Money Transfer Newbie here.
Upnotover replied to Destiny1990's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
So does mine. But you can't use Wise to send money from Thailand to it, or to anywhere else for that matter. -

Correct. -
At least you admit you want to visit bars. That's something of a a rarity here. So forget the walking and sightseeing smokescreen and head directly to Pattaya (if it's open). You can always bail out to Bangkok which most certainly is worth going to albeit without the scenic walks.

Should be no problem in them getting their restaurant license, they have been serving bananas for many years.

Yellow book - what's the procedure for getting one?
Upnotover replied to scubascuba3's topic in Pattaya
My wife handled mine but I do recall having to take a basket of that chicken gloop to some guy in an office in Nongprue. Seemed to work though. -
I would definitely agree about the shaving. I take Clopidogrel (I think Rivaroxaban is similar in effect) and whilst any minor scratch or cut will bleed annoyingly for some minutes a shaving cut will not stop for hours. I once cut myself shaving before leaving to fly to the UK and bled constantly for 23 hours. I guess it does show the meds have some effect.

Best Christmas food. High end lunch or dinner Quality no quantity.
Upnotover replied to The Hammer2021's topic in Pattaya
Not in Pattaya now but back in the day Cafe des Amis would be my choice. I've seen little to suggest that it still isn't one of the best places in town. -

Then just get a motorbike license. You can't drive her car on that. -

I've always thought that to be the case. As they ask for "Name and address and/or residency evidence" and the first thing listed is "visa or resident permit". Trouble may well be the VFS staff not really understanding the requirement (perhaps they read this forum too much).

Don't those cans also contain a propellant?
