    I never found my passport to be so cumbersome that carrying two, when needed, would be an issue of any sort. I guess that's a major drawback of the DTV for some folks.

    Conversion of your existing SIM ought to be no problem, I just did it for a UK SIM. My True app has an option to convert to eSIM, how about DTAC, does their app not have the same?

    Yes it was Kasikorn. And they also knew which pages of the bank book I would need and provided them. I'm attempting a 90 day stay for the first time ever right now (CoR for driving license) so will bear that in mind next year, managed 7 days so far this time.

    I did one in April. Yes 45 days is ok. I went to the bank in CW and they produced what they said was needed, which was a 12 month statement but not a copy of every page in my bank book, just the front and last pages. And the standard balance letter. As for the 90 report I can't say, never done one.

    12 would be good as then you'll get the whole year of extension, otherwise it will end on the expiry date of your passport.

    Two stories mixed up. The specific story was 510kg in 28 cases. But the stupidity remains the same.

    A "Thai Tourist" in my book would be a Thai national visiting Birmingham on holiday (though lord knows why). These people were British tourists returning from holidays in Thailand.

    I had exactly this issue a few months back. I initiated a support chat through the app and they said there was something I had subscribed to that was eating credit. They told me I must have clicked on something which of course I hadn't (apparently "foreigners" do this a lot). Anyway, whatever it was they unsubscribed me from it and the problem has not recurred so far.

    I bought a set of 3 (cheap) Tefal pans from Lazada, Never noticed if the red spot changes but one thing for sure is they are fine for cooking, non-stick as they should be and wash up easily, so I couldn't worry less.

    Really? But it is a UK company, operating on O2, and all pricing is in £. Sure you were on the right website?

    I don't recall ever seeing one and even if there was it would be overpriced. They were supposed to be doing away with the shops on arrival so best take her into town and let her choose.

    The CW slip says 5000 and 200/day. Seems entirely random, perhaps things change and they read their own manual when they actually implement the penalty.

    That's why I wouldn't recommend it, and at KL arrival and departure aren't segregated so it's easy.. Whenever arriving from the UK I also don't have any exit stamp and I have never ever been asked for my boarding pass on entering.

    I have done it a few times to/from KL albeit some years ago. I'm sure for a one off it won't be an issue. One time didn't even enter Malaysia as they gave me out and back boarding pases at BKK check in, I wouldn't recommend doing that however.

    Presumably an extension of stay, you do not renew visa's. Yes, up till your permit to stay date, (but wouldn't risk doing it on the last day)

    Presumably you mean you have an extension of stay? You can renew 30 (maybe 45) days before it ends, so mid, maybe early October. The new extension will be 12 months from the expiry of the current one, mid-Nov.

    I realise that but somewhat surprised they needed a tip off from an informant to locate him, one would have thought their immigration systems would have picked him up on re-entry. And still no timeline.

    Not likely as the 1 month under consideration period is pretty much a standard feature.
